‘It's about time!’ Fans thrilled as Lady Gaga teases new music 4 years since her last album

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pop sensation Lady Gaga's fans are holding their breath, since the superstar took to her Instagram Stories to give a hint about her new music.

On Thursday, March 21, Gaga shared a photo of audio waves on a screen and fans took this a sign she’s recording new music. However, there is no official confirmation or announcement made about any upcoming album. 

Fans assumed Gaga was working on new music after she posted a picture of sonic waves on a screen on Thursday, March 21. On the other hand, no formal announcement or confirmation of a planned album has been made.

Lady Gaga teases fans with hint of new music

Gaga set Internet into a frenzy as die hard fans of her music have been waiting for a new album since Gaga’s last album, 2020’s 'Chromatica'. The 13-time Grammy winner has been spending the past three years on plenty of other projects that she’s been passionate about.

However, now with her new story, which seems as if she is recoding a new song, fans are thrilled than ever. 

Gaga's recently rebranded 'Haus Labs' beauty line has gone viral on TikTok, consistently releasing innovative new items ranging from bright blushes and foundations to glosses, lip crayons, and everything in between.

The diva hinted in June 2023 that she was putting a lot of effort into a number of artistic endeavors, such as an edit for a film based on her headlining tour in 2022.

At the time, as per Billboard, Gaga said, “I prepared for months developing my character for Joker, I filmed [Joker: Folie a Deux] for many months a very introspective time," adding, “I have been running my start-up Haus Labs, doing philanthropic work, and additionally have been working on The Chromatica Ball film edit.”

Earlier this week, the singer announced that she will be back on the stage at the Dolby Live theater at Park MGM for eight shows between June 19 and July 6.

Since then, she has played a private event at the Fontainebleau in Vegas last month and a Fortnite: Battle Royale gig during the 2024 Fortnite Festival on February 22. Her most recent Jazz & Piano show was in October, last year.

A user  wrote, "YES MOTHER MONSTER COME BACK TO US." Another user labeled Gaga as, "Lady Gaga the Queen of Pop." 

A user wrote, "We need an announcement and snippet tonight!!" While the next one wrote, "Oh I'm ready for something new." 

A fan said, "Dying to hear what sound she’ll go with next."

A fan said, "Its about time!!!"
