LONDON, UK: Dakota Johnson is entering into the popular Marvel Universe with her upcoming movie ‘Madame Web.’

Promoting the flick on 'The Graham Norton Show,' the star talked about her titled character.

“She is a new character, and this is a new version of a Marvel movie. It's different and grounded and from an entirely female perspective...It's totally stand-alone,” said the actress.

Dakota did her own stunts in 'Madame Web'

Dakota also talked about the decision to perform her own stunts in the film,” I had a one-day stunt driving course and it was the most fun I have ever had.”

‘This is Us’ series star Sterling K Brown was also present on Friday’s episode, February 2, on the show. He has been nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in ‘American Fiction.’

“It is a very funny satire on how mainstream media often see black people in very narrow perspectives, which isn't the whole story…” Sterling said about the flick.

Sterling is expecting Robert Downey Jr to lift Best Supporting Actor award

Asked whether he is enjoying his Oscar nomination, the 47-year-old answered, “There's no losing yet. It will happen in its own good time. But I know I am not going to win, and I am totally fine with that. Robert Downey Jr. is going to win, and he is incredibly deserving…”

“The fact that I get to be nominated along with him, Robert De Niro, Ryan Gosling, and Mark Ruffalo is incredible, I am just happy to be in the room.”

The 96th Oscars ceremony is scheduled for March 10 and will be broadcast on ABC from Beverly Hills, California, reports DailyMail.

Talking about his successful series ‘This is Us,’ the actor said, “People still come up to me to hug and to tell me that the show changed their lives. How it provided them with some form of catharsis. I didn't know it would have such an impact. It was really lovely.”

To this, Dakota shared her contrary experience, “That never happens to me. I just get letters from men in prison and very strange things in the post!”
