WASHINGTON, DC: Democratic Rep Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has sounded the alarm about Ivan Raiklin, a self-declared "secretary of retribution" of former President Donald Trump.

The former US Defense Intelligence Agency employee is behind the "Deep State target list," which includes the names of 350 people he wants to see arrested or swatted should the former president return to the White House, as per Raw Story.

Raiklin's extensive list includes elected officials from both Democratic and Republican parties, journalists who were the ex-president's "political enemies," Capitol police officers, FBI and intelligence officials, Trump's impeachment witnesses, and the January 6 committee members, among others.

"This is a deadly serious report," told Jamie Raskin to Raw Story, adding, "A retired US military officer has drawn up a 'Deep State target list' of public officials he considers traitors, along with our family members and staff. His hit list is a vigilante death warrant for hundreds of Americans and a clear and present danger to the survival of American democracy and freedom."

The Maryland lawmaker called on House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to "denounce" the Trump loyalist's "dangerous plot."

Trump's campaign did not respond to the outlet's request to weigh in on Raiklin's revenge tour. However, the self-proclaimed "secretary of retribution" told the publication, "Look at my entire Deep State target list. That is the beginning. This is the scratching of the surface of who is going to be criminalized for their treason, okay?"

The MAGA spearhead has warned several times that his second term would be of "retribution," and Raiklin's plan mirrors it.

The outlet also reported that he sent his target list to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Barry Loudermilk.

Raiklin is also connected to former national security adviser to Trump, Michael Flynn, who is known for his far-right ideology.

Trump ally Steve Bannon had made a similar remark in June, warning the presumptive GOP nominee's inauguration day in January 2025 would be "accountability day" where his opponents would face prosecution.

Internet divided over Jamie Raskin's warning about Ivan Raiklin's retribution plan

Netizens had mixed opinions over Rep Jamie Raskin cautioning top leaders about Donald Trump loyalist Ivan Raiklin's apparent hit list.

"This just seems like J6 Version 2.0," said a person, while another wrote, "Sure, who believes liar Raskin."

A person expressed, "This behavior is not normal. It's psychotic," while someone else commented, "Sounds like a campaign commercial for Trump though I doubt it’s true of Raskin is involved."

"@RepRaskin maybe we should be done screwing around with criticism of our candidate, and get fully behind the guy who beat Trump last time. I'm deadly serious," remarked an individual.

"Can’t tell me if this is deliberate fear mongering or straight up delusional," said another person.

"Dems: OK Cheap Fakes didn't work, press isn't pushing our hysteria over Project 2025, let's try Secretary of Retribution," commented a Facebook user, while one hoped, "He may well end up with the fate he wishes to inflict upon others."

An apparent Trump supporter noted, "The Democratic Party is crumbling. Joe Biden's campaign is destroying itself. The media is confused and lost, because they can no longer gaslight. And they're all still fearing Trump. This is the best entertainment in the world..."
