Jason Kelce says he may go for vasectomy after wife Kylie delivers fourth baby: ‘We’ll see’

DELAWARE, PENNSYLVANIA: Jason Kelce is considering taking a permanent step to stop expanding his family after his wife, Kylie Kelce, gives birth to their fourth child.

While no final decision has been made, the former Philadelphia Eagles player admitted that a vasectomy is a possibility.

During his appearance on TNT's 'Steam Room' on Friday, February 21, Travis Kelce, 37, shared that he and Kylie, 32, have discussed the "V-word".

The football star acknowledged that he and Kylie have had conversations about the procedure but have not made any firm plans.

"We've brought it up. I don't know if it's going to happen or not. But, I think we'll see," Jason said. He also hinted that their fourth child "might be it".

When asked if he would keep trying for a boy, the soon-to-be father of four made it clear that the decision was out of his hands.

"That's not my decision. I've got the easy part, I'll keep doing my part," Jason joked, drawing laughs from hosts Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley.

He noted that Kylie might be ready to stop having children, saying, "I think Kylie’s to the end of wanting to pop these things out. I think this pregnancy has been a long one for her. This is our fourth girl. We’ll see."

Jason and Kylie Kelce, who married in 2018, are parents to three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1.

The former NFL center admitted that having a boy is no longer a priority.

"I don't think it's necessarily about wanting a boy because, at the end of the day, we're not shooting with good percentages," Jason quipped.

He added that they have accepted the reality of their growing family. "We've got to give up on that idea. It's more about, 'Do we want to have another child?' And if we want another one, we'll do that," he said.

Jason acknowledged that his wife's perspective on family planning has changed. "I think she’s like, 'OK, I’m done,'" he said.

"I am very good at producing little girls, and we are very excited," added Kelce.

Kylie Kelce's fourth pregnancy announcement 

Kylie Kelce made her pregnancy announcement in November 2024 by sharing an Instagram photo of their daughters wearing matching pink "big sister" shirts.

The picture showed Wyatt looking shocked, Elliotte smiling with joy, and Bennett, the youngest, bursting into tears.

"I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page! 🤷‍♀️," she wrote in the caption of the post. 

The baby is due this summer.
