NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Jason Kelce is preparing to take the late-night TV world by storm with his upcoming show, 'They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce', set to premiere on January 3.

The show will air on ESPN for five consecutive Fridays, running through February 1, with the final episode starting a half hour later than the previous ones. As the former NFL star gears up for this exciting new project, he’s getting some crucial advice from one of the best late-night hosts in the business: Jimmy Kimmel.

Jason Kelce shares how Jimmy Kimmel helped him prepare for his new late-night show

Jason Kelce opened up about the guidance he received from Jimmy Kimmel during a recent episode of the 'New Heights' podcast, which he hosts alongside his younger brother, Travis Kelce.

Reflecting on his appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on November 21, Jason recalled how the veteran host generously shared tips on hosting a late-night show.

"It was absurd, it was hilarious. Jimmy was the man, offered tons of advice," Jason said of the experience. He continued, explaining how Kimmel not only helped him prepare for his own show but also gave him insight into the behind-the-scenes aspects of running a late-night talk show.

"To be able to go on his show and promote my show that's coming out, but also just go there and talk to him... get all the ins and outs about how to run a late-night show, how you talk into the camera, how you choose topics, how you prepare… it was honestly a very, very beneficial trip to take," Jason added.

According to the DailyMail, Travis Kelce, who joined the conversation, also had kind words for the late-night host.

“I got to go meet Jimmy over the summer, man. What a guy. Great dude, and you could tell he’s one of the best in the business for a reason,” Travis remarked, reinforcing his brother’s admiration for Kimmel.

Jason's upcoming late-night show promises to be full of fun and excitement, featuring football players, coaches, and celebrities as guests, as well as a live band performing iconic NFL songs.

“It’s going to be a good time,” Jason teased. His show will coincide with the NFL postseason and extend all the way to Super Bowl week, providing fans with an entertaining mix of football and late-night humor.
