NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel tore into Kimberly Guilfoyle's recent speech at the Florida Republican Party 'victory dinner,' during his opening monologue on Monday, September 9.

Guilfoyle is a former prosecutor and Fox News host, and is currently engaged to Donald Trump Jr, son of GOP nominee and former President Donald Trump.

As such, Kimmel was expected to troll her on his show, reported The Daily Beast. According to the publication, Kimmel has taken on Trump Jr as often as he has roasted Donald Trump himself on his show.

Don Jr was shredded by Kimmel in 2020 after contracting Covid, with the latter saying, "You might not deserve to get the virus, but you deserve to get it more than anybody else does.”

He was also called a "dumb**s" by Kimmel for suggesting the GOP nominee to pick Sen JD Vance as his running mate.

Jimmy Kimmel's trolling of Kimberly Guilfoyle

During her speech on Saturday night, Guilfoyle had stated that "act three" of Trump's presidential campaign was the "The Art of Comeback."

It was a reference to the fact that it was the third time Trump was seeking office, after 2016 and 2020, as well as a reference to his 1997 book of the same name.

The comedian made fun of Guilfoyle, asking on his show, "The art of the what?” He further took a dig at Guilfoyle's appearance, stating, "Y’know, these people, they hate drag queen story hour… No problem with that.”

The political right is known to oppose what they refer to as 'trans ideology,' and drag artists interacting with children.

GOP nominee Trump himself recently created controversy, claiming that children are undergoing "brutal" gender transition surgeries at schools across the United States.

Jimmy Kimmel's quip at Jon Stewart

Jimmy Kimmel reacted to a recent report published by Rolling Stone on his show, which states Trump was hoping to “punish late-night comedians for giving illegal campaign contributions to the Democratic Party in the form of jokes and on-air satire," if he is elected back into the White House.

While the audience laughed, Kimmel shared, "Glad it’s funny to you! He wants to lock up the late night hosts.”

He went on to quip, "How would this work for Jon Stewart? Would he only go to jail on Mondays?”, in a cheeky reference to the 'Daily Show' host, who only appears on the Comedy Central show on Mondays since his return to television in February after staying away for eight years.
