Jason Kelce's mom Donna says fourth granddaughter's arrival 'will be a blast'

KANSAS CITY, KANSAS: Donna Kelce, 72, is delighted about her growing family.

Jason Kelce, 37, and his wife Kylie Kelce recently announced they are expecting their fourth daughter, a joyful addition to their family that Donna eagerly anticipates.

During the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, November  29, where she arrived with Taylor Swift to cheer for her son Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, Donna Kelce also spoke about Jason Kelce.

Donna expressed how thrilled she was to be welcoming another granddaughter.

“Having two boys and now [I'm] gonna have four grandchildren and they're girls. So it's really kind of a sweet thing for me,” Donna told People.

Jason and Kylie already have three daughters: Wyatt, five, Elliotte, three, and Bennett, 21 months.

She described the prospect of another granddaughter as something that "will be a blast." 

Kelce family holiday traditions light up Donna Kelce

Donna Kelce also opened up about the Kelce family’s holiday traditions, including their plans for the season.

She shared her excitement about visiting Jason's home in Pennsylvania to pick out a Christmas tree.

“Man, there's so many fun things,” she said. “The most fun I have is when we go where my oldest son lives in Pennsylvania, and we get to go and pick out a tree," Donna said. 

The fun continues even though young granddaughters present come challenge.

“It kind of gets decorated over time, especially with a 5, a 3, and a 1 year old,” Donna explained. “You have to do it in tranches. But yeah, it's kind of fun.”

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce made their pregnancy announcement on November 22 via Instagram.

Kylie's humorous post featured their three daughters wearing “Big Sister” sweaters.

The caption poked fun at the variety of emotions captured in the photo of the three daughters getting the news of the arrival of a fourth sister.

“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister,” Kylie wrote.

Joking about Elliotte, the only daughter smiling in the photo, she added, “At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!”
