Jason Momoa reflects on alternate career paths, says he wants to 'do something to help the environment'

Jason Momoa shared he would have pursued politics if he did not end up as an actor
The 44-year-old actor shared that if he had not pursued acting, he would have chosen the path of politics to focus on environmental issues to help save the planet.
"I’d wanna do something to help the environment,” Momoa said.
"The way the world’s going, I would've, if I was still young Jason, 12-year-old Jason, I'd probably try to do something to get into politics, really fight for our planet," he added.
"If I could go back and be in sixth grade, I would make my life go towards making a change," he continued.
The actor, who recently made an appearance in the documentary 'Common Ground' about sustainability, offered practical advice for those looking to contribute to environmental causes.
“I would just start in the home. Like, what are the small things you can do on how to save energy? What are we taking in that we can consider, ‘Do we need that?,’” he explained.

The Meili Vodka founder shared that his primary goal for himself in the coming year is to maintain a healthy lifestyle. He also expressed his wish to focus on self-love and stress management.
“I’m a stressful guy and I’m very high-strung, so I’m going to try to chill out,” he said.
For relaxation, Momoa admitted to enjoying a 'Dirty Momo' drink, a term coined by those who know him well.
“I love it neat and at room temperature. But if I had to have it in a drink, I would have a dirty — they call it a 'Dirty Momo.' I'd have a dirty martini, is the way I love it." he said.
"Vodka never did anything wrong," Momoa joked as he revealed the only drink that gets him "in trouble" is whisky.
His latest project 'On the Roam' showcases his nomadic lifestyle he explores different cultures and crafts around the world.

“The whole show is about things that I'm curious about and things that I’m interested in learning,” Momoa says.
The 'Lost Kingdom' actor recently spoke about instilling environmental values in his young children.
He acknowledged his commitment to teach his children, Nakoa-Wolf, 15, and Lola, 16 about sustainable practices.
"I feel like I'm doing it and I'm almost force-feeding my children too much," he said.
