Jeff Bezos’ reaction to men admiring fiancee Lauren Sanchez revealed amid backlash for inauguration look

WASHINGTON, DC: Jeff Bezos doesn’t mind a man admiring his fiancee Lauren Sanchez from afar, a source close to the couple recently revealed.

President Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony on Monday, January 20, was a star-studded affair attended by several tech CEOs and businessmen in attendance, including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with his fiancee Lauren Sanchez, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, X boss Elon Musk. 

While the day was dotted with more than one noteworthy event, Bezos’ fiancee grabbed a significant spotlight due to her choice of outfit for the occasion. Though a good many of that attention consisted of netizens slamming her for opting for a revealing dress during the event, sources reveal that the man himself doesn’t mind a few pairs of admiring eyes on Sanchez.

Lauren Sanchez made headlines earlier this week when she wore a $1,890 Alexander McQueen lace bustier top with a matching blazer for Donald Trump’s inauguration. 

In a hilarious moment, that has since gone viral, Meta CEO Zuckerberg was seemingly caught looking at her bosom. 

Nevertheless, a source shared that Bezos doesn’t mind the male attention his Emmy-winning journalist fiancee commands whenever she is in public. 

Speaking to The Sun, the source shared, “The thing with Jeff that nobody realizes is he's essentially a massive nerd and always has been - that's why he's been so successful as a businessman.”

They explained, “When he first got with Lauren, he finally felt like the cool, popular kid at school, the hunky quarterback with a hot cheerleader on his arm.”

Elaborating further, the source continued, “He loves going out with her looking smoking hot. He loves the looks other men give Lauren, it makes him feel powerful that she chose him.”

While Bezos is supportive of his fiancee’s fashion choices, Sanchez, herself, has also appeared to have sent a pointed message to those whose tastes do not align with her own. 

According to Daily Mail, ‘The Fly Who Flew’ author liked the comments on her Instagram that praised her look. 

While the former journalist opted for a dare dressing for the inauguration event, for The Starlight Ball later that night, she chose a soft glam look. 

She wore an ethereal golden-peach-colored gown from Dolce & Gabbana for the evening affair.

Lauren Sanchez says she dresses for herself

While Sanchez has been no stranger to online hate for her dressing sense, she has a clear philosophy of her style. Sitting for a joint interview with Bezos for Vogue in 2023, the journalist said, 'I always found it interesting that people say, "Well, Lauren, you definitely dress more for men.""

While dispelling the speculations,  she clarified "I actually dress for myself."

However, Sanchez shared that meanwhile her fashion also impresses her fiance, with whom she has been engaged since May 2023. Her fiance later chimed in, "But it works for Jeff."
