Bunnie XO, originally named Alyssa, revealed during a chat on 'Dumb Blonde' podcast in July that she and her husband decided to undergo in vitro fertilization (IVF) with a surrogate, per the outlet.
Bunnie said, "I would have trouble carrying a baby." She added that she and Jelly are not in a "good place" in their relationship as they experienced "many" pregnancy losses and can't handle another loss "emotionally and mentally".
She said, "This journey with IVF, we sat down a couple months ago. And I was just like, I feel like I've accomplished so much in my life. And the only thing that's left is to raise a baby and garden. I'm in my baby mama (and) gardening era."
Jelly Roll sees new baby as chance to get things right
Jelly Roll sees the new baby as a chance to get things right from the start. The rapper has been through a lot as he was in and out of jail and struggled with substance abuse issues. He was arrested more than 40 times on drug charges and has said he abused cocaine, according to Life & Style Magazine.
However, he became sober after the birth of Bailee, though he’s admitted to smoking weed and drinking the occasional cocktail. After failing to become a successful rapper, he became famous in 2022 with the release of country hits like 'Need a Favor' and 'Son of a Sinner', which scored him three CMT Awards in 2023.

He was nominated for a Best New Artist Grammy in 2024. The source added, "Now that Jelly has finally made it in the music business, he can give a kid a better life than what his older children had — a nice home, nice things, money for college, security and, most importantly, his devotion and time."
The couple is involved with Bailee and Noah personally. Bailee said that her relationship with her biological mother is a work in progress and it is something that Jelly and Bunnie support.
Bailee said on 'Dumb Blonde' in 2020, "I had an extra, interesting, traumatic childhood. [Bunnie and my dad] are important reasons for why my mom is in my life now."
