Jelly Roll praised as he reveals 'new goal' for 2026 health journey after losing 120 pounds
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Country singer Jelly Roll, renowned for his inspiring weight loss journey, has set new ambitious goals after shedding 120 pounds in just one year.
The transformation follows his commitment to healthier lifestyle changes, including a reduced alcohol intake and a focus on exercise during his recent 'Beautifully Broken' tour, which ran from August to November 2024. Now, Jelly Roll is aiming even higher, setting his sights on gracing the cover of Men's Health by March 2026.
Jelly Roll sets 'new goal' in weight loss journey
Jelly Roll, who is focused on his next goal in his weight loss journey, recently appeared on his wife Bunnie XO's 'Dumb Blonde' podcast. During the episode, he revealed that his next ambition is to "be on the cover of Men's Health by March of 2026. That's my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations."
After revealing his new weight loss goal, Jelly Roll's wife responded with excitement, saying, "Let's go! So giddy. I can already visualize it."
The singer then explained why he chose to share his health journey so openly with his fans: "I did this publicly for a reason. I want to be honest about my struggles with it with people. I wore it for so long. I think that people that become as big as I became when they lose the weight, they're kind of ashamed."
He continued, "They're so ashamed that they go hide and lose the weight, and then they come back out and they don't really know how to interact with the world looking different or feeling different."
He stood firm in his decision, "I wanted to lose it in front of everybody. I wanted to talk about it."
Jelly Roll also expressed his desire to take his fans along on his weight loss journey, adding, "It’s on my daily Roll vlogs. You know what I mean? I mean this is constantly what I’m putting in the air because I want to bring people along with me."
He concluded, "And what I want the world to know and what I want the people to see, Bunnie, is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight. I became successful in spite of it. I somehow managed to be this successful with carrying 550 pounds. That’s insane."
