Jenna Dewan slammed for 'pretty bad parenting' after her controversial outing with daughter Everly
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mom-shamers always find fault with everything and Jenna Dewan is no exception as people criticized the professional dancer for a reportedly controversial mother-daughter outing with her preteen daughter Everly.
According to SheKnows, Dewan has been the target of online criticism on multiple occasions, such as when she shared pictures of nursing her now-5-month-old daughter Rhiannon, who she shares with her fiance Steve Kazee.
Jenna Dewan and daughter Everly attend Sabrina Carpenter’s Short and Sweet Tour
The 'Rookie' actress posted a video to Instagram of herself and her 11-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her ex-husband Channing Tatum, on Tuesday, November 19, while they were at Sabrina Carpenter's Short and Sweet Tour.
In a video she shared on Instagram on Tuesday, she wrote, "Pov — you take your preteen to the Sabrina Carpenter concert and it’s THAT part of the show."
The 'Espresso' singer always performs an intimate act on stage during her 'Juno' performance, as anyone who has attended the concert or watched TikToks of her performance knows.
As any protective mother would do, Dewan covered her daughter's eyes during that part of the show. In the video, Everly waits calmly for it to end while Dewan covers her daughter's eyes with her hand.

However, the mom-shamers arrived in full force to comment on the post, indicating that some people believe one should keep children in a cocoon and never expose them to anything even slightly inappropriate.
Dewan, who is also mother to 4-year-old son Callum with Kazee, appeared to have been unaffected by the hateful remarks as the 'Step Up' alumna posted additional show highlights on her Instagram story.
These included a video of Everly dancing and a selfie of her and Everly with glitter freckles and sparkles in their hair. Dewan commented on one video, "Seeing her have so much fun made my heart explode."
She captioned another video of herself and Everly dancing, saying, "Best date night 🥹." They appear to have had a great time, and the mean people are most likely upset that they apparently do not have as close a relationship with their own children.

Jenna Dewan previously opened up about her fulfilling experience raising her three kids. The 'Step Up' actress told PEOPLE at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards that her youngest baby girl, Rhiannon, is incredibly loved and cared for by her two older children.
She also talked about how she adjusted to being a mother of three. "It really shocked me how easy it flowed," Dewan said when discussing the experience.

The actor also opened up about how, despite her hectic schedule, she did not anticipate that becoming a mother to three children would go so well. "I’m definitely outnumbered and my brain with scheduling three kids is a lot, but they are incredible. They flow easily," she said.
Dewan also disclosed that Rhiannon is "really loved" by her 4-year-old son. Everly is "obsessed" with her younger sister and "wants to hold her all the time and rock her and everything."
Back in September, Dewan raved about her surprisingly "smooth" transition to motherhood in another interview with PEOPLE.
She had asked herself, "How in the world do you do three kids?" because she thought the process would be extremely difficult at first. However, she found the transition to be "pretty smooth."
Mom-shaming netizens slam Jenna Dewan for 'bad parenting'
Online critics took to the comment section to slam Dewan, commenting on her parenting style, as one wrote, "Just saying she’s gonna find it on the Internet after this."
A second wrote, "Oh no a teenager sees a woman who embraces her body what a Desaster."
"Pretty bad parenting here. Why would you subject your child to an adult environment like that??" another seethed.
One remarked, "Why are people bringing their underage kids to an explicit concert? Like yeah sure cover her eyes but she will literally Google it later."
"Hi! You’re a bad parent! Hope that helps! The show is not for an 11 year old!" another angrily exclaimed.
Another warned, "Oh my god pre teens know more today than 16 years old knew 10 years ago don't worry she will watch it later in her bedroom."
"Why the f**k would you take your preteen to a Sabrina carpenter concert," one chimed in.
Fortunately, a lot of other people recognized this as the action of a good, loving mother. "Y’all are the best 😂👏🎶✨💖," someone wrote. "Good for you for being prepared and not complaining afterwards!" said another.
