LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Before the 2015 gold or blue dress drama, it was one of Rachel Green's iconic dresses that had people scratching their heads in the '90s.

In 'Friends’ Season 3 Episode 2 titled, "The One Where No One’s Ready," Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston, was seen dressed in a flattering sweetheart-neckline dress, which soon became a topic of debate as some believed it was green, while others thought it was blue.

Following the 30th anniversary of the sitcom, which was on Sunday, September 22, the truth has finally come out.

Is it blue or green?

Max (formerly HBO Max) on its Instagram page shared two photos of Jennifer Aniston in the same dress. But one snap was in HD while the other was in 4k resolution.

In the caption, the streaming service wrote, "As if @jenniferaniston could be any more perfect. Always there for you. Celebrate 30 years of #Friends now streaming in 4K on Max. #Friends30."

Soon the post garnered people’s attention with one user asking, "Ok what’s the real color of that dress?" Another commented, “Rachel not so Green."

"Is the dress blue or green?" asked a person, while someone else remarked, "Wait, the dress wasn't green, was my life a lie."

"Stop it right now bc they dress def should be green!" declared one more.

Jennifer Aniston clears the suspense around her dress

Seeing the chaos around the dress, Jennifer Aniston took matters into her own hands as she posted a now-disappeared Instagram Story, re-sharing Max’s post.

She wrote, "For the record, the dress was mint green."

‘Friends', which also starred Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and the late Matthew Perry, ran from 1994 to 2004.

'Friends' creator remembers Matthew Perry amid sitcom's 30th anniversary

The show’s creator Marta Kauffman remembered Matthew Perry on the anniversary of the sitcom. She said, as per The Independent, "It’s a huge loss and it does make the 30th a little fraught."

Recurring actress Aisha Tyler, who played Charlie Wheeler, spoke about the late actor, who died in October 2023.

She shared, "On my first live show, Matthew Perry said to me, ‘Get ready for your life to change.’ And it was just those little moments of kindness that came very easily for them, but really made a difference for me – because it’s very hard to be funny if you’re frightened."

"You’re on a hit show and these are people you’ve watched on television and you’re standing next to them, and you just don’t want to suck," added Tyler.
