LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Friends are reaching out to Matt LeBlanc!

Almost a year after the tragedy of Matthew Perry’s death, the ‘Friends’ co-stars are left worried about their other pal and co-star Matt LeBlanc.

Earlier this month, LeBlanc, 57, sparked some concerns over the Internet when he appeared disheveled and exhausted when he was photographed during one of his rare sightings in Los Angeles.

Allegedly, after the ‘Joey’ star’s latest photos emerged, his friends have been reaching out to help him out in any way possible.

LeBlanc, who rose to astronomical fame through his portrayal of charming Joey Tribbiani in the NBC sitcom, has largely maintained a low profile in recent days after Perry’s death last October.

On Friday, September 6, the ‘Married … With Children’ actor was seen out in Los Angeles visiting a car showroom in Van Nuys. He opted for a casual laidback look and sported an unshaven bearded look for the outing.

More recently, LeBlanc was also seen on September 20, and that appearance has worried his friends.

A source close to the stars recently spoke out to In Touch, saying, “Nobody’s body shaming Matt or accusing him of anything untoward lifestyle, that’s not what’s going on here.”

“What’s concerning though, for Jen [Aniston] and all the Central Perk crew, is that he’s such a recluse these days and they barely hear from him from one month to the next,” explained the source.

The source continued, “He’s been in touch since the tragic passing of Matthew Perry,” before adding, “but aside from that, he’s just hunkered down and doing his own thing without any real interest in socializing.”

“That’s just plain sad for everyone to see,” shared the source.

The insider shared that after the death of his friend, LeBlanc’s zeal for life has also somewhat diminished.

“He used to be such an upbeat, happy guy but now it’s as though he doesn’t feel worthy to be in their company somehow,” shared the source.

They continued, “Clearly his self esteem’s taken a knock, and you only have to look at the guy to see he’s let himself go physically too.”

Nevertheless, he has his friends to support him. “Jen, Courteney [Cox], Lisa [Kudrow] and David [Schwimmer] all want to get him back in the fold and get him smiling again,” shared the insider.

They concluded by referring to the unifying effect that Perry’s death had on them. “The recent tragedy has taught them all how short and precious life truly is,” said the source.

Matt LeBlanc was the first cast member to post a tribute to Matthew Perry

LeBlanc and Perry’s friendship transcended the easy camaraderie the duo shared onscreen of the beloved sitcom. They were not only roommates in reel life but very good friends in real.

After Perry was found unresponsive in the hot tub of the Pacific Palisades residence on October 28 last year, LeBlanc was the first among the cast members to post a heartfelt tribute.

Sharing a carousel of images from the show that aptly described their bond, he wrote on Instagram, “Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.”

“It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you, and I’ll never forget you. Never,” promised the grieving pal.

He added, “Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love,” before concluding with a quip, “And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.”
