LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matt LeBlanc, beloved for his role as the charming Joey Tribbiani on the iconic '90s sitcom 'Friends,' was spotted in Los Angeles recently, marking one of his rare public appearances.

The actor, now 57, has largely kept a low profile in recent years, but his latest outing gave fans a glimpse of the TV star living his off-screen life.

Dressed in casual attire and sporting a more rugged look, LeBlanc was almost unrecognizable from the heartthrob he portrayed during his 'Friends' days, as per Daily Mail.

His laid-back appearance reflected his current lifestyle, far removed from the glitzy Hollywood limelight that once surrounded him.

On Friday, September 6, Matt LeBlanc was seen visiting a car showroom in Van Nuys, just outside of Los Angeles. The actor seemed relaxed and content during the visit, embracing a much more low-key vibe than what fans may remember from his time as Joey.

Sporting a black T-shirt, dark jeans, and a pair of dark sneakers, LeBlanc exuded an effortless, everyday look. A navy baseball cap helped him blend into the crowd, maintaining a low profile during his visit.

It was one of the few public sightings of the actor in recent months. LeBlanc had not been seen since December when he was last photographed following the tragic death of his 'Friends' co-star, Matthew Perry.

This latest outing was a subtle reminder of the life LeBlanc now leads, one far from the glamorous Hollywood parties and events that were once a staple of his career.

LeBlanc’s transformation has surprised many, as he now looks vastly different from his Joey days. His iconic role on 'Friends' cemented his place in television history as the lovable, goofy actor, but LeBlanc has since embraced a more subdued, quieter existence.

Matt LeBlanc's reappearance brings back memories of tough period for 'Friends' cast

Matt LeBlanc's reappearance in public brings back memories of a tough period for the 'Friends' cast. His last sighting in December followed the devastating news of Perry’s death in October.

Perry, who played Chandler Bing on 'Friends,' was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Pacific Palisades home on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office later revealed that his tragic death was caused by a fatal ketamine overdose, leaving fans and co-stars heartbroken.

LeBlanc, who portrayed Joey, Chandler's best friend on the show, expressed his deep sorrow at the time of Perry's death.

He took to Instagram to share a touching tribute: "Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend."

LeBlanc continued his heartfelt message by adding, "I will always smile when I think of you and I'll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother, you're finally free. Much love... And I guess you're keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."
