Jennifer Aniston's ex Vince Vaughn stuns fans with his sharp new look in 'Bad Monkey' trailer
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Minneapolis-born actor Vince Vaughn (real name: Vincent Anthony Vaughn) looks unrecognizable with his new detective comedy series on Apple TV+, wearing a sharp suit, almost resembling actor Ben Affleck.
The Hollywood actor, who was last spotted in 2023 with his family, used to date Jennifer Aniston about 20 years ago while while filming 'The Break-Up' in Chicago.
The first teaser for the comedy series 'Bad Monkey,' which also stars John Ortiz and Michelle Monaghan, was released on Wednesday, July 24. Carl Hiaasen's best-selling book served as the inspiration for the TV show, per Variety.
Vince Vaughn's rise to prominence
Vince Vaughn made his screen debut and met his pal Jon Favreau in the 1993 movie 'Rudy.' He also wrote and produced the 2013 movie 'The Internship,' per Hollywood Life.
Vaughn gained fame in 'Swingers' (1996) as Trent Walker and was featured in HBO's 'True Detective' during its second season in 2015.
He later starred in popular movies such as 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' (1997), 'Old School' (2003), 'Wedding Crashers' (2005), and 'The Break-Up' (2006).
The 'Swingers' actor also co-starred with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in the 2005 blockbuster 'Mr & Mrs Smith,' which became so successful it inspired a television series.
Among his other hits is the megablockbuster film 'Wedding Crashers,' starring Owen Wilson. Vaughn did, however, appear leaner for his new position as chatty police officer Andrew Yancy.
'Wedding Crashers' with Owen Wilson and 'Old School' with Luke Wilson are his most well-known film roles. In addition, Vaughn is a member of the "Frat Pack."
Along with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson, and Steve Carrell, Vaughn made several appearances in hit comedy films including 'Dodgeball,' 'Anchorman,' and 'Zoolander.'
During the 2023 premiere of the new comedy 'Christmas With The Campbells,' Vaughn expressed interest in doing a sequel to 'Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,' alongside Ben Stiller.
Vaughn, who portrayed Pete LaFleur, the proprietor of Average Joe's Gym, revealed that Stiller would only consider playing White Goodman again, provided a humorous and unique script was written.
White Goodman was the owner of Globo Gym and attempted to acquire Average Joe's Gym, per Daily Mail.
Vince Vaughn dated co-star Jennifer Aniston from 2005 to 2006
Vaughn and Aniston began dating in the summer of 2005 while they were filming 'The Break-Up' in Chicago. Vaughn previously told PEOPLE, "She's awesome. She has just a wonderful warmth and likability about her."
Aniston and Vaughn, however, had parted ways by December 2006. "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," their representatives told PEOPLE.
Vaughn threatened to sue several tabloid tabloids in October of that year after it was alleged he had been spotted kissing an unknown blonde and had broken up with Aniston.
Aniston avoided speaking about the breakup until 2008 when she reflected positively on their brief relationship. She said, "I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life," to Vogue.

In 2010, the 'Swingers' actor married Canadian real estate agent Kyla Weber. They share two kids, daughter Locklyn Kyla Vaughn (born on December 18, 2010) and son Vernon Lindsay Vaughn (born on August 7, 2013).
In January 2023, he was last spotted with his spouse Kyla with their two kids Lochlyn and Vernon.
The star brought his family to the Crypto.com Arena game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets. He appeared more plump back then, and it's evident that he went on a diet for the movie 'Bad Monkey' afterward.
The first two episodes of 'Bad Monkey' will air on August 14; new episodes will air every week until the finale on October 9.
