Comic-Con International is a destination to celebrate and appreciate comics and related popular art forms. Comic-Con International is all about fun and excitement.
But 'Elektra' actress Jennifer Garner found herself caught in a not-so-exciting situation during her appearance at the San Diego Comin-Con International.
The 52-year-old actress, who returned to her character Elektra in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', attended the convention to promote the action film and participate in a panel discussion with her co-stars.
Garner was, however, slightly delayed when she and a few other individuals got stuck in an elevator at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in California, as seen by a series of videos she posted on her Instagram account documenting the incident.
While she was stuck, Garner uploaded seven videos, each with a timestamp in the right corner. According to the post, it took one hour and 12 minutes for first responders to get on the scene.

With the caption 'Baby’s first Comic-Con: a short story', Garner, who was attending her first Comic-Con ever, posted several videos to Instagram.
The tale began after just two minutes of the ordeal. With poise and a sense of humor, Garner said to her fans, "Hey guys, um, we're suck on this elevator."
She went on, "I could use a Wolverine, I could use a Deadpool, I could use someone," and she agreed to look for stairs thereafter. "Thanks for having us here. My first Comic-Con."
Those particular superhero shout-outs were undoubtedly no accident as Garner makes a cameo in 'Deadpool & Wolverine' as Elektra, per TooFab.
The 'Family Switch' star, dressed in jeans and a floral shirt, remarked at the 11-minute mark, "It's toasty, I'm sphitzy, I need to blot."
She joked to the camera, "Don't cut the blue wire is what we're hearing."
Garner claimed to have heard on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' or 'The Office' that sitting on the elevator floor is what people are "supposed to do" when they are stuck in an elevator, so she did the same in the next video slide.
After 41.5 minutes, the 'Juno' actress was guiding her team through a rendition of the famous '99 Bottles of Beer' song (off-camera, there were members of her team, an elevator attendant, and a man dressed in a suit.)
"We're 45 minutes in. We're calling 9-1-1," Garner muttered as the camera swung to individuals using cell phones. "I thought we were in Vegas," Garner whispered upon hearing that they were in San Diego.
One hour and 12 minutes into their ordeal, as recorded by Garner, emergency crew managed to open the elevator door and let them to get out.
Garner's eyes widened with joy as she noticed first responders had come and everyone was clapping while she started singing Madonna's hit 'Like a Prayer.'
The mother-of-three debuted as the lead in 'Daredevil' (2003), co-starring with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, about whom she makes jokes in 'Deadpool & Wolverine', per People.
