LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Garner’s partner, John Miller, has expressed concerns about her involvement in ex-husband Ben Affleck’s troubled marriage to Jennifer Lopez.

Insiders reveal that Miller, 46, has told Garner, 52, it’s not her duty to 'fix' Affleck’s issues, despite her continued support for her ex amid fears of a looming divorce.

Garner has been a comforting presence for Affleck, 51, as rumors swirl about his potential split from Lopez, 54. She was even spotted last month at his rented $100,000-a-month Brentwood property, showing her ongoing concern.

However, sources indicate that Miller, a businessman and chairman of Cali Group, is growing weary of Garner’s involvement. “It bothers John that Jen is so hyper-focused on her ex-husband,” an insider told DailyMail.com.

"Of course, it bothers John that Jen is so hyper-focused on her ex-husband," an insider told DailyMail.com.

"He cares deeply for Ben and sympathizes with what he is going through with Jennifer, but that doesn’t mean Jen should be the one to fix her ex-husband’s issues with his current wife. That makes no sense to anyone."

"Jen is such a caring and wonderful woman and mother and there is nothing but a deep friendship and bond between her and Ben. John wants nothing more than for Ben to be okay, but it isn’t his girlfriend’s responsibility to play babysitter to him. That is for Ben to figure out on his own and for his wife to handle. It isn’t Jen’s responsibility, and he has told her this."

Garner and Miller first connected in 2018, the same year she finalized her divorce from Affleck after 13 years of marriage. They took a break but rekindled their romance in 2020, maintaining a relatively low profile since then.

Despite the ongoing drama, Miller tries to distance himself from the situation. “John stays out of it because he knows it’s none of his business. He avoids talking about her ex more than necessary,” another insider said. “But Jen can’t escape it because it’s everywhere. It doesn’t negatively impact their relationship. Jen wants to protect her kids and being there for Ben, if needed, allows her to do that.”

Affleck, aware of being a potential burden, avoids discussing his marital issues with Garner, focusing instead on their children – Violet, 18, Fin (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12. “Ben doesn’t want to burden Jen and only talks about the kids and their needs,” the source added.

Garner’s support stems partly from concern over Affleck’s history with alcoholism and fears that his marital stress could lead to a relapse. Reports have suggested that both Lopez and Garner are worried about his well-being amid the turbulent times in his marriage.

Affleck and Lopez, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in 2022, have faced persistent rumors of marital strife.

The online community has been buzzing with reactions to the news that Jennifer Garner's partner, John Miller, has urged her to avoid getting too involved in ex-husband Ben Affleck's marital issues with Jennifer Lopez. Here are some notable responses.

One user wrote, "JG has to realize she cannot ‘save’ him. She’s going above and beyond at the risk of her own relationship. She’s tooooo selfless. She’s selfless and everyone else is selfish in comparison. He’s gotta grow up sometime and address what’s wrong on his own."

Another user commented, "Ben doesn't like the idea that Jennifer gets more attention. He doesn't realize the public loves them both. He needs to shake it off, stop being whiny, be with a strong woman, or be weak and fall back into alcoholism because he doesn't know how to just find joy in both their success."

A third user expressed understanding of Garner's actions, writing, "I get her empathy and wanting to help in any way she can so he doesn't relapse. HE is the father of her children. She should want the best for him."

"Hopefully she will continue on with her life and let Ben get on with his. She deserves so much better than Affleck," another user said.

One more user speculated about Miller's concerns, saying, "He’s worried she will get back with Ben and he won’t have a paycheck anymore."
