Jennifer Hanie: Woman's body discovered on Los Angeles beach after boyfriend's missing person report

MANHATTAN, CALIFORNIA: Manhattan Beach Police reported the discovery of a deceased 31-year-old woman on a Los Angeles County beach on Friday. Notably, her boyfriend identified her name as Jennifer Haine, as per Fox News.
The finding occurred several hours after her boyfriend had reported her missing. Details about the cause and manner of death are pending disclosure by the medical examiner.
Currently, the police have disclosed the boyfriend's complaint and the subsequent investigation leading to the woman's discovery.
Police found lifeless body on Beach in Los Angeles
A lifeguard made the unsettling discovery around 10:10 a.m. on Friday, near the 2300 block of The Strand, as reported by the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
The woman, now identified as Hanie, was reported missing by her boyfriend, who, along with a friend, initiated the search around 6:40 a.m.
It remained uncertain whether Hanie had washed ashore, as initial reports from the scene suggested that the body was found offshore, in the vicinity of the 1300 block along the waterline.

According to a police statement, the boyfriend mentioned that he last saw his girlfriend near the water line.
After the missing person report, the police initiated an investigation and began consulting nearby agencies for any relevant reports.
According to the police report, "The MBPD immediately opened an investigation and checked with surrounding agencies for reports matching the missing person's description. The Los Angeles County lifeguards and the United States Coast Guard conducted searches of the beach and ocean.''
According to a police statement, officers confirmed the female as the missing person saying, "The female was positively identified by officers through photographs as well as next of kin as the missing person" as per ABC7.
