Jennifer Hudson reveals how she 'found quite a few' of her 27 half-siblings
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Hudson recently shared her father had 27 children in a recent candid interview.
Talking with Michele Norris during her ‘Your Mama’s Kitchen: Conversations from the Heart of the Home’ podcast show, the ‘Spotlight’ singer shared how her father's side of the helped her meet the half-siblings together.
"When my grandma on [my father's] side passed, my siblings over there were like, ‘Y’all got a sister that can really sing, you should meet her. And eventually we all came together,” Hudson revealed.
"Yes, [there are] a lot of us. Apparently he had 27 children," Hudson said.
Jennifer Hudson wished to celebrate Christmas with all her siblings
The singer was one of three children her dad Samuel Simpson shared with Darnell Donerson, along with her older sister, Julia, and brother, Jason.
"It was my dream to have all of us at this grand Thanksgiving or Christmas table, and we all sit and eat together. That was my goal, at 16," Hudson shared during the episode.
The 42-year-old stated that she "found quite a few of us... And I'm the youngest of all of them,” as she has met six or seven of her half-siblings, reported ET.

Jennifer Hudson says relationship with rapper Common is her 'happy place'
Hudson is presently dating rapper Common, as the two confirmed their relationship in January over 'The Jennifer Hudson Show'.
"This relationship is a happy place for me. For me, it's one of those things where I found where seeing her happy actually makes me really happy. I'm very grateful. I thank God every day and I'm just letting God guide this relationship," he said.
Hudson shares son David Daniel Otunga Jr, 14, with her ex-husband David Otunga.
