Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage has been 'over for months' despite public show of unity
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage is in disarray and they are already "living separate lives" for months despite presenting a unified front to the world, reports claim.
The couple's marriage has been under constant scrutiny ever since they got back together and married in July 2022.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage has been over for months, claims source
Ben Affleck, 51, and Jennifer Lopez, 54, have not been together since March, but Affleck is "very protective of Jennifer," a source told Page Six on Monday, July 1.
Rumors of their split reached a fever pitch in May when Affleck was conspicuously absent from Lopez's side at significant red carpet events, such as the Met Gala, which she co-chaired this year.
Reports circulated shortly after that Affleck and Lopez were living at different homes. According to InTouch Weekly, the couple was attending therapy to address their marital problems.
"Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to be a good sport about participating with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process," an insider told the site.
The 'Air' actor also missed the premiere of Lopez's newest Netflix series, 'Atlas,' with her. Lopez continued to feed the rumors after liking an Instagram post on unhealthy relationships.
The message stated, "You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves."
Later, Lopez decided to take a break and "be with her children, family and close friends," so she canceled her greatest hits tour, 'This Is Me...Live,' per Page Six.
The 'Atlas' actress expressed her heartbreak and disappointment to her followers in her 'On the JLo' newsletter.
She promised to make it up to her supporters, saying, "Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary."
Affleck had reportedly "come to his senses" over his brief marriage to Lopez and desired to end it, a source previously told Page Six in May.
The informant revealed, "If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."
More recently, in June, Affleck and Lopez placed their million-dollar Beverly Hills property on Zillow. As per People, Affleck has reportedly now relocated his possessions from the residence.

According to Page Six, the celebrities were offering artwork for sale from their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, which is also up for sale, amid their rumores marital discord.
Early in June, their property was apparently being visited by collectors and interested purchasers who were buying "art and some pieces" that were "newly on sale."
The Grammy nominee and Oscar winner bought the vast property last year, but they listed it for sale almost exactly a year later. An insider said they wanted to sell the mansion because they were never satisfied with it.
The insider revealed last month, "Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids."
The 'Good Will Hunting' actor officially moved out of his married home in Beverly Hills while the 'Jenny from the Block' singer was traveling alone through Europe.
Affleck has been renting an apartment close to his three children - Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, in Brentwood, California.
A source earlier told Fox News Digital, "He [Affleck] started moving out a while ago. The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly."
