Jennifer Lopez enjoys drinks with Kevin Costner after Ben Affleck reveals her 'Yellowstone' obsession

ASPEN, COLORADO: Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a major fangirl moment when she crossed paths with the star of 'Yellowstone' Kevin Costner on Friday, December 27, reported the Daily Mail.

According to the publication, Lopez, 55, and Costner, 69, were spotted enjoying drinks at the bar of the iconic western apparel store Kemo Sabe in Colorado.

Their encounter comes after Lopez's ex-husband Ben Affleck shared her obsession with the hit Western crime series last year, to the point that it was disturbing for him.

Jennifer Lopez was reportedly in Aspen to celebrate Christmas with her close friends and family, including her mother Guadalupe, and sister Lynda Lopez. On Friday, she was seen earlier shopping with her child Emme, 16, dressed in fashionable westerns.

The singer wore a thick black turtleneck with cheerful wintry knit designs, paired with a black decorated cowboy hat, and diamond-encrusted Chanel earrings. Emma complimented their mother by sporting a black cowboy hat with a long black leather shirt jacket, charcoal jeans, and black boots.

Costner was seen chatting with Lopez and her entourage at Kemo Sabe, looking suave in his thick salt-and-pepper mustached look, but it was not clear how long the two celebs got a chance to interact with each other.

Appearing with his best friend Matt Damon on 'The Bill Simmons Podcast' in March 2023, Ben Affleck revealed Jennifer Lopez to be a huge fan of 'Yellowstone'.

He claimed she was particularly invested in the on-screen romance between Cole Hauser's character Rip Wheeler, and Costner's on-screen daughter Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly.

"Jen showed me a clip off of Instagram of a monologue (Reilly) has in the car with the kid about the ways to become rich," Ben recalled.

"And then (Jen) was like, 'I love this story of these two,'" stated Affleck. "I was like, 'Wait a minute — with Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?' I'm kind of disturbed by the fact that my wife really likes Yellowstone."

Damon went on to explain that Hauser was an old acting buddy of his and Affleck and was adored by them.
