Jennifer Lopez in negotiations to buy famous LA mansion with bizarre Ben Affleck connection

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez, embroiled in a high-profile divorce with former partner Ben Affleck, has reportedly set her eyes on a famous LA mansion.

The 55-year-old singer, who filed for divorce from Affleck after nearly two years of marriage, might become the owner of the Azria Estate in Holmby Hills soon as she is about to close the deal, as per TMZ.

The market price of the estate is $55 million but Lopez’s team is trying to get it between $30 million and $39 million.

The 30,000-square-foot property features 14 bedrooms, an infinity pool with a sauna, a greenhouse, and a guest house along with an in-home theater and game room.

However, it’s not all rosy since the huge mansion originally belonged to the late BCBG founder and fashion designer Max Azria, who died in 2019. Earlier in 2024, it was put up for auction, and billionaire investor Ron Burkle won it at $30 million.

But the property was never handed over to him and as a result, he reportedly sued Max’s widow, Lubov Azria.

Now, TMZ has reported that the ‘On The Floor’ singer has been negotiating with both Luboz and Burkle.

According to sources, there is more than one reason for Jennifer Lopez's interest in the estate.

She reportedly fell in love with it while shooting for her film ‘Atlas’. The actress also took a tour of the property with her estranged husband Affleck when they were looking for a marital home.

Not only that but another interesting fact about the Azria Estate is that it’s located close to Sean “Diddy” Combs's Beverly Hills house, which is now up for sale for $61 million after Homeland Security raided it in March as part of a federal sex trafficking probe.

Other prominent neighbors of the property are Tom Ford, Sean Parker, and Jimmy Iovine.
