"Jen, like most people, would love to have love in her life again," an insider told Daily Mail.

However, the source shared that she recognizes the importance of focusing on herself first and if anyone needs time "right now is herself."

The insider added, "If something presents itself, then obviously life and love find a way, but she isn't looking to get into any new relationships."

They also said the 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer is dedicated to her work and views 2025 as the year to rediscover herself.

"She isn't actively looking to date right now and is still processing losing Ben again," the source noted.

While earlier reports from In Touch Weekly suggested that Lopez was "on the prowl again" and "showing Ben what he's missing," the Daily Mail source dismissed these claims.

"She likes being in a relationship almost immediately after one ends, but right now she is trying something new and seeing if that works out for her better," added the tipster.
