Jennifer Lopez - a ‘bad picker’?
In the video shared by the outlet, the ‘Jenny From The Block’ singer can be seen engaged in a candid chat with her ‘Unstoppable’ costar Bobby Cannavale at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday, per Page Six.
The songstress, who pulled a stunner of a revenge dress on the red carpet ahead of the movie’s premiere, can be overheard in the video admitting to Cannavale, “I'm a bad picker.”
After the actor struggled to decipher her words for the first time, Lopez reiterated the phrase multiple times before concluding with a quip, “It is what it is.”
Lopez’s stunning appearance in a silver metallic dress at the Toronto International Film Festival happened just two weeks after the actress filed for divorce from her fourth husband Ben Affleck, 52, on August 20.
The ‘Atlas’ star filed the papers herself and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce. She also claimed that they have been separated since April.
Lopez has been married thrice before her marriage to the ‘Argo’ star. She was previously married to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. With Anthony, she shares her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Ben Affleck opened up about his shortcomings 1999 interview
While Jennifer Lopez has proved that she has self-awareness of her situation, the same can be said about Ben Affleck too. Though he has not spoken about the cause of the degeneration of his relationship with Lopez recently, previously in a 1999 interview, he opened up about the reasons behind his failed relationships.
Amid his divorce proceedings with the 'Maid in Manhattan' star, internet sleuths have unearthed an old interview of the 'Good Will Hunting' star revealing the cause of why his “other former girlfriends [are] generally p**sed off” at him.
Affleck, who had two public relationships before that time, elaborated in the interview, “Probably justifiably so. If I were the next guy to go out with them I'm sure I would be nodding in agreement about what an a**hole their ex-boyfriend was.”
He explained, “It's not like I was a womanizer or physically abusive or psychologically abusive or whatever,” before adding, “It's just that these relationships never end well.”
“I think what happens is, I end up wanting to be out of the relationship,” Affleck continued before noting, “During the course of a relationship, if you get dissatisfied and unhappy and don't say something, if you don't deal with it right then, it just festers and stays there."
He further admitted his role in the failure of a relationship, saying, “So instead of saying, 'Look, don't do that, please don't act this way,' I go along with it until I just don't want to be in the relationship at all.”
“Then I create some incident or do something or just don't call. And then she's p**sed,” explained Affleck.
Affleck noted in the interview that recently went viral on Reddit, “And I can't necessarily blame her at that point since I've developed such a passive-aggressive rage that I have no sympathy and tell her, 'Well of course I didn't call you. If you weren't such a nagging, shrewish harpy I'd call you'.”
Nevertheless, at that time, he added looking towards the future, “But that hopefully is something I'm growing out of.”
