"I decided to take this summer off and be home with the kids and it was the best thing I think I’ve ever done,” she told host Graham Norton, 61.

Despite knowing that her fans were looking forward to the shows, Lopez explained it was important for her to prioritize her loved ones during this challenging time.

The OntheJLo website announced the postponement of the tour in May, which was initially scheduled from June to August.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," she said in a statement at that time.

Reflecting on this decision on 'The Graham Norton Show', Lopez said, "It's not like me to do that."

She explained, "When it comes up, I like to apologize to the fans because I know a lot of them were coming out," referring to the canceled tour.
