LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Break up blues, what’s that? Jennnifer Lopez appeared in an upbeat mood as she took her child Emme for a shopping trip on Sunday, September 1, a few days after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20.
During her much-needed outing, Lopez, dressed in a bohemian outfit, broke out in a happy dance move.

The ‘Jenny From The Block’ singer’s latest outing came close on the heels of her first public appearance since filing the divorce papers.

Jennifer Lopez, 55, showed off her free spirit when she stepped out to the Century City Mall in Los Angeles on Sunday with a large shopping party, including her 16-year-old child Emme, per Daily Mail.
Lopez was dressed fashionably in a denim patchwork long skirt paired with a chic cream-colored knit top. The ‘Maid in Manhattan’ star was frosted in loads of dainty silver jewelry and adorned a gold band on her wedding ring finger. To complete the look, she added oversized Gucci sunglasses, Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings, and a Dior saddle bag.
At one point during their outing, the ‘Atlas’ star showed off her famous dance moves while on an elevator. Emme, who uses the gender-neutral they/them pronoun, giddily filmed their mother’s impromptu performance.
The ‘Let’s Get Loud’ rocker welcomed Emme along with their fraternal twin brother Max, during her seven-year marriage to Marc Anthony. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2014.
Lopez’s outing on Sunday came just a day after she was seen attending an event in Beverly Hills on Saturday, August 31. For that outing, Lopez donned a white halter crop top and flared jeans.

After citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce, Jennifer Lopez made a photo dump over the weekend while sending a message loud and clear.
In one of the photos of the carousel, comprised of 16 photographs, Lopez donned a graphic tee shirt with the message, “She’s in bloom and unbothered.”
The message further continued to insinuate, she is “out of reach and at peace.”

By the looks of it, Lopez has taken days out of her busy schedule to pamper herself following her recent split.
While in one photo, she showed off her incredible figure, in another Lopez was seen enjoying a hearty serving of ice cream.
In another slide, she shared a message that read, “Everything is unfolding in divine order.”
The doting mother shared a few snaps of her enjoying a spa day. Her 16-year-old Emme also featured in some of her posts.
Lopez ended the carousel on a poignant note as she appeared to share the message that despite her divorce, she is willing to ‘dream’ as highlighted by her printed shirt.
