LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez's former colleague is speaking out about the singer's past relationship with Sean 'Diddy' Combs, suggesting that Lopez likely had no knowledge of Combs' alleged misconduct during their time together.
The comments follow after 54-year-old music mogul who was arrested in September on serious crimes and is currently held in Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn, New York.

Thea de Sousa, a Hollywood insider known for working on Jennifer Lopez's 2002 film 'Maid in Manhattan' and other major projects shared her perspective on Threads.
In her since deleted post, Sousa stressed her confidence that Lopez was unaware of Combs' alleged behavior.
“If you knew Jennifer Lopez, if you ever worked with her like I did, or if you were close with people who are like family to her like I am, you would know she did not have any idea about Diddy," Souza wrote.
Lopez and Combs dated between 1999 and 2001. While Lopez has not been accused of any wrongdoing, her name resurfaced due to a specific night when Combs is alleged to have been involved in an assault case.
Combs has denied all allegations against him. His trial is scheduled for May 2025. He recently marked his birthday with a phone call to his family from jail.

His comments followed Lopez’s public statement at a Kamala Harris rally, where she advised against voting for former president Donald Trump.
Musk remarked, "JLo was like his ex-girlfriend, and it’s like now deciding she’s like warning people against Donald Trump. How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh zero, okay. Maybe we shouldn’t trust her opinion.”

Musk continued his criticism, suggesting that individuals in the entertainment industry may have been aware of Combs' alleged actions but chose to overlook them.
"People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was like abusing, you know, kids basically and yet they still fed him kids. Like, where's the accountability? They had to know,” Musk said on the podcast.

Thea concluded by highlighting Lopez’s values and her separation from Combs’ alleged actions, asserting, “She does not deserve to be conflated with [Diddy’s] shocking and criminal misdeeds.”
