Jinger Duggar slams rumor about her children being disabled, reveals why she keeps them off social media

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the arrival of baby number three, Jinger Duggar Vuolo is setting the record straight when it comes to the rumors about her children being disabled.

The former 'Counting On' star recently addressed the long-running and deeply personal rumor about her children during a candid Instagram Q&A where she didn't hold back.

Jinger Duggar, 31, who shares four children with husband Jeremy Vuolo, 37, has long chosen not to show her children’s faces on social media, Ace Showbiz reported.

But that choice, rather than being respected, has sparked persistent rumors, specifically that one of her children may be disabled.

During the Q&A, a bold commenter asked her to “show us your girls,” adding speculation that one of her daughters might have a medical condition. Jinger’s response was firm and heartfelt.

“I’ve never answered this question but sadly it’s been a rumor for years,” she said, before adding, “This is actually why we don’t show our children’s faces and choose to give them privacy.”

She continued, “People demand to see them. We don’t want to subject our kids to how cruel some people can be in their judgements. It’s honestly just sad to see these comments come in.”

In a powerful statement, Jinger made it clear that her family’s decision had nothing to do with health concerns.

“We have been blessed with three healthy children. But even if God had chosen to give us a child with a medical condition, that would in NO WAY change the way we share them on socials. Every life is precious and a gift from God," she added.

Jinger and Jeremy are now proud parents of three—Felicity Nicole (6), Evangeline Jo (4), and Finnegan Charles, their newborn son.

Recently, Jinger shared her joy about welcoming baby Finnegan. “It was a pretty fairly great delivery. I’m just so thankful to God that we have this healthy baby boy here with us,” she said.

In her Instagram posts, Jinger Duggar also opened up about her support system during this new chapter, starting with her mother, '19 Kids and Counting' matriarch Michelle Duggar, and her sister. 

“Why just sit around waiting for baby boy to arrive when you could be out shopping with your mom instead? 🛍️ We found the cutest spring and summer dresses! 🌼," she wrote in one post. 

In a March 6 post, she gave her fans a sneak peek into a shopping spree with her sister. 

The caption read, "Shopping spree with my little sis Joy while I’m 9 months pregnant! 🛍️💖 The countdown is on, and we’re making the most of these last few moments before baby arrives!"

She also took a moment during her baby shower to express gratitude for the woman around her.

“Feeling so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing ladies at my baby shower for baby boy Vuolo," Jinger wrote.

She added, "Their love, support, and prayers mean the world to me! I’m beyond grateful to have such sweet and thoughtful friends in my life during this special time. Can’t wait for baby boy to meet each of you! 💙
