JoJo Siwa pranked into believing her identity had been stolen: 'I'm shooken'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: JoJo Siwa recently found herself at the center of an elaborate prank.

In an exclusive preview for the latest episode of 'Punk You', a new digital prank show from the creator of 'Punk'd', the 'Dance Moms' alum was led to believe her identity had been stolen, prompting a series of fake allegations involving wire fraud, bank fraud, and credit card fraud.

JoJo Siwa left 'shooken' by 'Punk You' prank

The prank started with a bang when JoJo Siwa’s driver was stopped by an SUV disguised as an FBI vehicle, as per E! News.

Ever quick with a joke, the singer quipped, "Getting pulled over by the secret agents? This is a new one." But the 21-year-old’s nerves soon showed as she anxiously asked her driver, "Are the doors locked?"

In the middle of the chaos, JoJo called her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, for help and said, "I got pulled over by the FBI. They brought us up to the rooftop of a parking structure, and apparently, somebody is stealing my identity."

Clearly rattled by the situation, the 'Karma' hitmaker admitted, "I’m shooken, because, like, what the f**k is happening right now?"

Jessalynn, who was in on the stunt along with JoJo’s friends, played her role perfectly, promising to come to her daughter’s location.

She later revealed to the group just how shaken JoJo had been by the prank. "Her code word is 'Beyonce,' and she texted me 'Beyonce,'" said Jessalynn with a laugh, confirming just how convinced JoJo had been.

Punk You has made a splash with its daring pranks on celebrities, and JoJo isn't the only star to fall victim to the show’s antics.

Other high-profile targets set to appear include Sexyy Red, NLE Choppa, Jynxzi, and DDG, as the series aims to keep both stars and fans on their toes.

The episode featuring the elaborate prank on JoJo will be published on Punk You's YouTube channel.

Recently, JoJo Siwa opened up to E! News about her upcoming vacation plans with her girlfriend, Dakayla Wilson.

She also shared that she spent around $30,000 to throw an unforgettable celebration for Dakayla's 19th birthday on October 11.

"We’re about to take her on the best birthday extravaganza," shared JoJo, adding, "We’re going to Hawaii. It’s going to be a lot of fun."

Despite the lavish trip, JoJo made it clear that money isn’t the driving force behind her plans.

"But look, it’s not about the money. It’s about the person, it’s about the time and the thing you do and the experience," expressed the 21-year-old. 

The couple who made their relationship Instagram official in August, first connected several months earlier while working together on the set of So You Think You Can Dance.
