Jodie Foster's rare outing with son Charlie at SAG Awards leaves fans gushing: 'He looks just like her'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jodie Foster impressed fans as she made a rare appearance with her eldest son, Charles "Charlie" Bernard Foster, during the 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 23. 

The 62-year-old actress was up for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for portraying Detective Elizabeth Danvers in 'True Detective: Night Country', as per People.

The 26-year-old is reportedly set to start his acting career soon. 

Jodie Foster’s son Charlie makes rare appearance on red carpet

Jodie Foster - dressed in a burgundy column gown - dazzled on the red carpet with her son, Charlie Foster, whom she shares with her ex-wife, Cydney Bernard. The former couple shares another son, Christopher "Kit" Bernard Foster, 23. 

Jodie ended up losing the SAG Award to 'Baby Reindeer' star Jessica Gunning. 

Nevertheless, her role in 'True Detective: Night Country' has already earned her two wins this award season, with the latest being at the 2025 Golden Globes.

While accepting the award at the Golden Globes, 'The Silence of the Lambs' actress reflected on her family life. 

"I just want to thank my family. Because Kit, my scientist son, and Charlie, my actor son who's starting his career, hopefully you understand the joy, such joy, that comes from doing really hard, meaningful, good work," Jodie shared, before adding, "So my boys, I love you, and this, of course, is for you."

She also won her first-ever Emmy Award for her role in the Issa Lopez-led thriller series.

Fans couldn't help but gush over the mother-son duo as they made their way to the SAG Awards red carpet.
