PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: In a stunning political spectacle, President Joe Biden's supporters have launched a blistering attack on former president Donald Trump's mental state following an unusual rally incident, the Daily Mail reported.

The controversy erupted after Fox News cut away from Trump's speech mid-rant, sparking accusations of senility from Biden's allies. The 2024 presidential race has increasingly focused on the age and fitness of its two leading contenders, Trump, 78, and Biden, 81.

Both campaigns have weaponized their opponents' age and behavior, questioning their physical and mental capabilities for another term in the White House. The first head-to-head debate of the 2024 election cycle, scheduled for Thursday, June 27, in Atlanta, Georgia, promises to be a critical battleground where these issues will be front and center.

In recent history, both men have set records for being the oldest individuals inaugurated as US Presidents. Trump initially set the record in 2016 at 70 years old, only for Biden to break it in 2020 at the age of 78. The upcoming election will see either candidate set a new precedent in American politics by becoming the oldest elected president.

The incident that ignited the latest controversy occurred at a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Trump launched into a peculiar rant about water pressure and environmental regulations. This line of rhetoric, often highlighted in his speeches, took an especially odd turn on this occasion.

Trump lamented the supposed inadequacy of water flow in new homes, stating, "You ever try buying a new home and you turn on – you want to wash your hair or you wanna wash your hands – you turn on the water and it goes drip, drip. The soap, you can't get it off your hand. So you keep it running for about 10 times longer."

He continued with an anecdote about washing his hair, emphasizing, "I like lots of lather because I like it to come out extremely dry because it seems to be slightly thicker that way. And I lather up and then you turn on this crazy shower and the thing drip, drip and you say I'm gonna be here for 45 minutes."

As he proposed a solution involving rainwater, Trump declared, "There's so much water, you don't know what to do with it. You know, it's called rain. It rains a lot in certain places. There is a problem. They don't want you to have any water. They want no water."

At this point, Fox News, which had been broadcasting the rally, decided to cut away. The network's host stated, "And you were just listening to former president Trump and we're going to talk about some of the things he was discussing there. We'll be right back."

The incident swiftly caught the attention of Biden's Wins account, a community of Biden's supporters, on X, which seized the opportunity to highlight Trump's perceived incoherence. "BREAKING: In a terribly embarrassing moment for Trump, Fox News has to cut away from his speech because he isn't making any coherent sense," the account posted.
