WASHINGTON, DC: President Joe Biden's performance at the highly anticipated NATO summit press conference on Thursday, July 11, is claimed to be a massive success according to his campaign, reported Fox News.

The incumbent appeared well in command over foreign policies and international issues when grilled by journalists, and held his ground on being the best candidate within the Democratic Party to take on presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

Joe Biden exceeded expectations at press conference, claims campaign official

A Biden campaign official, speaking to Fox News after the conference, expressed high praise for the incumbent's performance, stating it was precisely what the American people were looking for from their Commander-In-Chief.

Voices have recently grown across the aisle calling for Biden to step out of the race following his abysmal performance in the first presidential debate against Trump on June 27.

The Biden campaign claimed that Thursday proved that the President still had what it takes to defeat his predecessor in November.

They insisted that substance mattered more than style, claiming that voters would ultimately be swayed by the actual merits of what the nominees were saying.

According to Biden's campaign, he clearly articulated the economic progress achieved during his administration and discussed foreign policy issues, including the Russia-Ukraine War, China, and other foreign affairs topics, in a manner that Trump is unable to match.

They further mentioned that the event helped rake in more donations for the campaign, saying, "Since last night we’ve seen a strong support across our coalition. Most importantly, we see it with our grassroots base. We had close to 40,000 donations last night alone. Donations exploded during the president's press conference. In fact, we’ve hit 7 times our average during the press conference."

Internet disagrees with the Biden campaign

Netizens, especially MAGA supporters did not share the enthusiasm promoted by the Biden campaign over Thursday's press conference.

They continued to question the incumbent's capabilities, and mocked him for his gaffes during the day, such as confusing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Hard to tell if they are serious or not," a person wrote on X.

"The man has been wrong on nearly every foriegn policies hes been in on," stated another. [sic]

"To quote President Biden, 'here's the deal...' He may be good in foreign policy, but our own country seems to be falling apart right now and he's not doing anything about it," expressed a user.

"Who is whom joe? That guy on your right side, is that putin? Or zelensky? Dah!" mocked another.

"He couldn’t be more pathetic and embarrassing if he tried," quipped one more user.
