The singer's playful tone was evident as he inscribed over the picture, "Last December I sent Timothee Chalamet a text from my friends phone anticipating a response."
Jonas, aged 35, playfully posted a second selfie on TikTok, hinting that he would inform his more than 6 million followers if Chalamet, who is 28, chose to reply by the following December.
"This December he still hasn't texted back. Hope this helps!" he added.
The post featured the song 'Thoughts of You' by Ole 60 playing in the background, accompanied by his caption, "Check back with you guys next December for an update."
Chalamet, 28, has experienced a bustling 2024. During the spring, he filmed 'A Complete Unknown', the Bob Dylan biopic, portraying the legendary singer-songwriter. Come fall, he was on set in New York City for 'Marty Supreme', alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, People reports.
