SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS: Former Republican Joe Walsh slammed New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu for selling 'his soul to Trump' as he defended former President Donald Trump's 'won’t have to vote anymore' remark by calling it a 'classic Trumpism'.

The New Hampshire Governor had an interaction with ABC News on Sunday, July 28, where he was asked about Trump's statement. Sununu said. "I think it was a classic Trumpism if you will. Obviously, we want everybody to vote in all elections, but I think he was just trying to make a hyperbolic point that it can be fixed as long as he gets back into office and all that."

Soon after, Walsh took to social media and slammed Sununu saying, "As a Republican, I refused to sell my soul to Trump. Which is why I’m now a 'former' Republican. And to be honest, it’s not always easy being politically homeless."

He further said, "In fact, sometimes it sucks. But then along comes Chris Sununu, a Republican who did sell his soul to Trump, and I hear how damn pathetic he sounds, and I instantly no longer feel so bad."

During his speech on Friday, Trump added, "You have to get out and vote. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four years and it will be fixed, and it will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore. In four years, you won’t have to vote again."

He also said, "Christians, get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore. Four more years. You know what? It’ll be fixed! It’ll be fine! You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you Christians. I am a Christian."
