WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News anchor Joey Jones tore into Democrats for what he called “fake outrage” over President Donald Trump demolishing the East Wing of the White House to make way for a new $350 million ballroom funded entirely by private donors.

Speaking on 'The Big Weekend Show' on Saturday, October 25, Jones dismissed the uproar as “so stupid,” claiming that “nobody cares” about the East Wing except those looking for political ammunition.

“This is so stupid,” Jones began, setting the tone for his fiery monologue. He argued that when Americans picture the White House, they usually think of the front-facing center section, the one featured on currency and in official photographs, not the lesser-known East Wing that was recently demolished.

“The majority of people think about the part that goes on currency, the part everyone recognizes,” Jones said. “Nobody cares about a section of the White House that wouldn’t matter to anyone anyway if it weren’t a TV show called ‘The West Wing’, which draws in the question, ‘What’s the East Wing?’”

His remark drew laughter from co-host Tomi Lahren as the show’s chyron flashed “Ballroom Derangement Syndrome”, a tongue-in-cheek jab at “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“Nobody concerned about their life in politics cares about what that looks like!” Jones added, continuing to mock the Democratic backlash.  

Joey Jones calls Elizabeth Warren hypocritical on White House project

Jones specifically called out Senator Elizabeth Warren, who announced an investigation into the ballroom’s funding and approval process earlier this week. He accused Democrats like Warren of hypocrisy, saying they were silent when statues of Founding Fathers such as Thomas Jefferson were torn down but are suddenly “mourning the East Wing.”

“That’s rich,” Jones said, shaking his head. “You didn’t care when Jefferson’s statue came down, but now you’re crying over a wall that nobody even looked at.”

Trump defends new ballroom as a ‘beautiful addition’ to White House

The Fox News debate came amid intense media coverage of President Donald Trump’s $350 million White House ballroom, a massive 90,000-square-foot addition built on the site of the demolished East Wing. Trump has repeatedly touted the project, emphasizing that not a dime comes from taxpayers.

“This ballroom will be one of the most beautiful in the world,” Trump said earlier in the week. “I love that sound of construction, ooh, that’s music to my ears. I love that sound.”



He also praised corporate donors like Apple and Amazon for funding the project, saying their contributions showed confidence in America.

Still, critics such as Hillary Clinton and California Governor Gavin Newsom have accused Trump of destroying a historic part of the White House. Clinton even told reporters that Trump was tearing down history to build his own ego.
