'Shut up': John Fetterman slammed for lauding Biden to beat Trump's 'a** into dust' this election
WASHINGTON, DC: Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa) supported President Joe Biden on Saturday, July 13, expressing belief in his capacity to prevail in November as calls for Biden's succession grow in response to his rough debate performance against former President Donald Trump last month.
“Democrats, stop worrying about Joe Biden’s legacy and think about yours,” Fetterman wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). ”Abandon a great president after a rough debate or stand with the only person who ever beat Trump’s a** into dust.” “All must choose, but we’re headed for assured mutual destruction if we don’t cut the s**t,” he added.

Abandon a great president after a rough debate or stand with the only person who ever beat Trump’s ass into dust.
All must choose, but we’re headed for assured mutual destruction if we don’t cut the shit.
Sen John Fetterman believes Joe Biden will win swing state Pennsylvania
During a Friday interview on CNN's 'The Source with Kaitlan Collins', the rookie senator expressed his belief that Joe Biden will eventually win Pennsylvania, his home state, even though the polls may be close. Voters in the Keystone State, Sen John Fetterman continued, are "excited" about the incumbent.
“Not one single person has approached me as a Democrat and said, Joe Biden, we gotta get rid of Joe,” Fetterman told host Kaitlan Collins, per The Hill. “Regular people in Pennsylvania are excited for Joe Biden, and I witnessed that when I was in Philadelphia last week."
“Joe Biden is going to be okay in Pennsylvania, but it’s gonna be close,” he added.
Winning Pennsylvania is essential for Joe Biden to secure US presidency
To win the 2024 presidency, Joe Biden needs to win several swing states, including Pennsylvania.
Trump has 48.7 percent of the vote, compared to the president's 44.7 percent, according to the Hill/Decision Desk HQ poll.
In another fiercely contested race, Republicans are trying to flip the seat of Sen Bob Casey (D-Pa).
Sen John Fetterman spent much of last two weeks criticizing Democrats
For the majority of the past two weeks, John Fetterman has been criticizing Democrats who have demanded Joe Biden resign as the party's nominee following his dismal presidential debate performance on June 27, in which he stammered, lacked enthusiasm, and had a raspy voice.
George Clooney also asked Joe Biden to step down
Since the presidential debate, Joe Biden and his campaign have tried to allay fears through live interviews and rallies, but at least 19 Congressional Democrats have urged the incumbent to step down.
A Democrat all his life, actor George Clooney has also urged the president to resign and has raised money for the Biden campaign.
Sen John Fetterman said focusing on GOP's Project 2025 than Joe Biden's poor debate is more important now
John Fetterman pushed back on the calls in his interview with Kaitlan Collins. “It’s maybe 18 or 19, maybe 20 Democrats in Congress have now asked Joe Biden to step down,” he said. “So that means well over 90 percent of Democrats in Congress right now is right there with Joe Biden, at this point.”
“So, I think that’s more meaningful to reflect what you know where we are as a party on that at this moment,” Fetterman added.
He went on, saying that it "is more important" to concentrate on Trump and his purported ties to Project 2025, a conservative agenda that the Heritage Foundation has put forth that could drastically alter American government structures and that Democrats have seized upon in an attempt to hurt the former president and Republicans ahead of November's election.
Sen John Fetterman believes that both Joe Biden and Sen Bob Casey will win reelection
John Fetterman thinks Joe Biden and Bob Casey will both be reelected, but Democrats need to come together in support of Biden.
“I want to be clear, Joe Biden can beat Trump,” he said. “But Joe Biden can’t beat Trump and the New York Times and this whole apparatus of other people and consultants and all these people just keep riding his back week in and week out.”
Internet trolls Sen John Fetterman as he continues to back Joe Biden despite all odds
John Fetterman's recent support for Joe Biden rubbed the netizens in the wrong way as the US president's declining health condition has been quite clear from his several interactions over the past few weeks.
Several political pundits have urged him to drop out of the race but the 81-year-old has remained rigid in his stance and has stated that he will remain in the hunt for the upcoming presidential election.
One X user tweeted, "Cut the s**t is correct Senator. WTF are we doing here other than getting fing smoked?"
Another added, "Senator John Fetterman doesn't speak for voters like myself and I'm a Democratic Supporter but regardless of what Fetterman thinks I will continue to call on President Biden to step aside."

Another remarked, "Fetterman needs to shut up and do his job."
