John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, who are now proud parents to their daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, eight, work in sync to make time for their children.
“We absolutely try to switch off, we're always looking out for that,” he told the outlet. “You never want to work at the same time because it's not only important to be there for the kids. It's important for us because I think it keeps us completely and totally centered."
"Listen, it's a juggle when you're traveling around the world, but luckily we've got great kids and great friends and family who allow us to, when we travel, bring the whole circus with us,” Krasinski added.
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt starred in ‘A Quiet Place’
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt worked together in ‘A Quiet Place’, which was co-written, directed, and starred in by Krasinski along with Blunt.
The actor jokingly said referring to the movie plot, “It's a scary office when you're trying to not be killed on sand. It was interesting. You know, that process was one of the most thrilling I've ever had because I’d never worked with Emily.”
Krasinski confessed it was “terrifying. I remember the night before [production began], genuinely, we were heading to bed and she turned to me and she said, ‘Are you scared?' And I went, ‘Terrified.’ She went, ‘Oh, thank God. Me too.’ And I thought that was a really good way to go into it, rather than faking it and pretending.”
The '13 Hours' actor was also voted the People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2024.
He reacted to his win with People, saying, “Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts. Other than maybe I’m being punked. That’s not how I wake up, thinking, ‘Is this the day that I’ll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?’”
He joked, “And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me."
