John Stamos faces flak as he attends Mar-a-Lago event despite past support of Joe Biden and Barack Obama

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: John Stamos has been called out online after photos of him speaking at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago went viral, despite him being a Joe Biden and Barack Obama supporter in the past.

The viral pictures showed the 61-year-old actor holding a mic while all suited up for the undisclosed event.

It also showed other people in attendance. However, what exactly the event was and if Stamos was supporting the 47th president in any way have not been confirmed yet.

But Stamos' fans were clearly not happy with his latest move.

When John Stamos, who was a Joe Biden and Barack Obama supporter at one time, was spotted at a Mar-a-Lago event, not many were pleased.

A critic commented, “Another washed up Hollywood actor.”

One tweeted, “John Stamos at Mar-a-Lago? Disappointing. Uncle Jesse would never. Time to cancel Full House reruns, can’t watch without thinking of this betrayal. What’s next, DJ Tanner at a MAGA rally? Gross.”

A user said, “Well, he was certainly wrong. Stamos, November 2024: ‘We need a leader who prioritizes unity and strives to bridge the divides that have deepened over the past years.’”

“Just did a little research. He was the MC of a charity event called dancing with the Palm Beach stars that was at Mar-A-Lago. quite the slippery slope here for an individual who has, in the past, supported the Democrats,” an individual posted.

“I’m confused... he endorsed Kamala,” a user wrote.

“Some people are just lame cowards,” a Reddit user commented.

Another posted, “Not surprised. He’s a total tool.”

“I just gave up on liking most celebrities at this point, at least in the US sphere. They have to prove to me they are good because so many of them are spineless people with tons of money and parents that got them there,” a comment read.

A user remarked, “S***heads like him go where the action is.”

John Stamos earlier backed Barack Obama and Joe Biden

 ‘Full House’ star John Stamos had congratulated Joe Biden following his 2020 election win.

At the time, he shared, “Congratulations to @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris on a historic election win! Everywhere you look there’s a ❤️-  and my prayer for our country is that we keep dancing in the streets, uniting in patriotism, & 'building back better' for the love of our children.”

In 2016, he had even shared a photo with Obama. In the caption, he wrote, “Feeling politically sentimental today. Need a caption please: Barack Obama,” suggesting their closeness.

Not only that, just days before the 2024 election, Stamos took to his Instagram account and posted, “We need a leader who prioritizes unity and strives to bridge the divides that have deepened over the past years. My hope is that this election leads to a renewed focus on bringing people together, fostering dialogue, and seeking justice and equality for all.”

“At the end of the day, I wish for a safe and honest election. And no matter the outcome, I will support the elected president and pray for a peaceful and honest transition,” the 61-year-old actor added.
