John Travolta honors late son Jett on what would've been his 33rd birthday: ‘Love you forever’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: John Travolta recently remembered his late son Jett Travolta, who died in January 2009.
Jett would have turned 33 on April 13 this year. His loving father posted an old photo of himself with his late son and wrote, “Happy birthday Jett - I miss you so much! Love you forever!”

The 71-year-old had three children Jett—25-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, and 14-year-old son Benjamin—with his late wife Kelly Preston, according to People.
John Travolta lost interest in life after elder son Jett’s death
John Travolta lost his eldest child in 2009 while holidaying with his family in the Bahamas. Jett was 16 at the time and had stuck his head on a bathtub because of a seizure.
In 2014, the ‘Pulp Fiction’ star spoke about the tragedy with BBC.
Calling it “the worst thing that's ever happened in my life,” he shared, “The truth is, I didn't know if I was going to make it. Life was no longer interesting to me, so it took a lot to get me better.”
At the time, the actor also revealed that the Church of Scientology helped him cope.
He said, “I will forever be grateful to Scientology for supporting me for two solid years, I mean Monday through Sunday.”
“They didn't take a day off, working through different angles of the techniques to get through grief and loss, and to make me feel that finally I could get through a day,” Travolta added.
John Travolta was over the moon after son Jett’s birth
In 1994, two years after his son Jett was born, the Primetime Emmy Award actor told People that he “can’t imagine what life would be like without Jett.”
He continued, “After he was born and cleaned up, I held him for hours while Kelly slept. When they came to take him away for various tests, I said, ‘No, you can’t see him today. You’ll have to do it another day.’ I went a little nutsy.”
Fortunately, months after Jett’s death, Travolta and Preston welcomed their third child in November 2010, who helped them get out of the grief.
