Jonathan Majors gets emotional as he announces marriage to Meagan Good: 'I love that woman so much'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jonathan Majors has tied the knot with Meagan Good after nearly two years of dating.
The 'Lovecraft Country' alum confirmed the news during his appearance on the 'Sherri' show on March 19.

Jonathan Majors, 35, and Meagan Good, 43, exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony officiated by his mother. This marks Good's second marriage after her previous union with DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2022.
Majors became emotional while speaking about his love for Good during his interview.
"I said to Meagan yesterday, 'Today might be the happiest day of my life,'" Majors said, tearing up on the show.
He continued, "I love that woman so much. We fell in love," as he occasionally seemed to choke up.
Expressing his gratitude, he added, "So how it had happened — well, Lord, Sherri thank you. We fell in love."
Majors also shared that getting married was always part of their plan. "We finally got to do it, but it was always the plan," he noted.

The 'Creed III' star revealed that he sought the blessing of Meagan Good’s father before proposing.
"I asked her father for permission... If that was alright, and he said, 'That's cool,'" Majors shared. "It was a longer conversation. So it was always the plan," he added, People noted.

Majors further explained that they had their wedding rings engraved in Hawaii.
"We had these rings, and we got them engraved in Hawaii after I spoke with her father again," he said.

Jonathan Majors shared that his mother played a special role in the ceremony.
"My mother came. My mother's a pastor, and she came from Dallas where I'm from," Majors said.
He added, "We had my mom come, and she came to the LA screening [of 'Magazine Dreams']. My mother had never been to one of my screenings. And we had told her that, 'Hey we're gonna do this thing.' And we did. My mother married us yesterday. Her mother was there."
A source told People on March 18 that Majors and Good had gotten married. "They truly care for one another," the source revealed.
