LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, 56, and his wife Jordyn Blum, 48, are working through their relationship challenges after his affair led to the birth of a child outside their marriage.
Despite the betrayal, the couple, who have been married for 22 years and share three daughters, have been seen together recently.
Jordyn Blum has 'forgiven' Dave Grohl’s affair
Jordyn Blum has decided to stand by Dave Grohl as they try to move forward.
They are reportedly committed to saving their marriage and have taken steps, including counseling, to heal from the situation.
“Jordyn has forgiven Dave and is trying to move on. She is [still] completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side,” a source told Us Weekly.
The insider also revealed that the couple is attending counseling, with Grohl making efforts to regain Blum’s trust.
“They are going to counseling, and Dave has been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn’s trust. Neither of them wants the family broken,” the source added.
Dave Grohl had an affair with music fan Jennifer Young
In September 2024, Dave Grohl publicly acknowledged the birth of his child with another woman.
“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote on Instagram at the time.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote.
Page Six last month revealed the identity of the child's mother. The publication reported that Jennifer Young, a 38-year-old music lover from Florida, has been seen taking her nearly seven-month-old daughter for walks in her Los Angeles neighborhood where she lives with her mother.

She told the publication that she wanted to keep the baby’s name private due to concerns over fan reactions.
“Because there’s some really angry fans,” she said, adding “Protecting her identity is really important.”
Dave Grohl is prioritizing his family and no longer seeking divorce
A source told People in November 2024 that Dave Grohl is focused on repairing his marriage and is no longer considering divorce.
“He's no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife,” the source said.
Another insider shared that Grohl is making his family his top priority. “He loves his family,” the insider said.
“He knows he messed up. It's one of those situations where you don’t realize what you have done until you’re about to lose it. He doesn’t want to lose his family,” the source added.
Young was described by a former classmate as “quiet” and “very pleasant,” with a deep passion for music and sports tattoos featuring Paul McCartney lyrics and the Metallica logo.
While she was in New York City over Valentine’s weekend—the same time Grohl was in town for the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special—Page Six noted that it is unclear if they met up during the trip.
