ATLANTA, GEORGIA: 'The View' co-host Joy Behar voiced her frustration and concern over a recent poll indicating that more key swing state voters trust Donald Trump over President Joe Biden to handle threats to democracy.

Her remarks came during a discussion about undecided voters ahead of the CNN presidential debate, according to Fox News.

Joy Behar says Donald Trump 'wants to destroy democracy'

During the discussion, Joy Behar said, "Were these people watching TV on January 6? This is a depressing, depressing time we're in."

"When people cannot make up their minds between somebody who wants to destroy democracy, wants to destroy this country, the Republican Party will get rid of your Social Security, all sorts of things," she added.

On Wednesday, June 26, a Washington Post published a poll focusing on which candidate key swing state voters trust on the issue of protecting democracy and found 44 percent of the voters trust Trump, while only 33 percent believe Biden would be able to do a better job.

Behar further accused the GOP of wanting to get rid of "gay marriage" and "women's rights."

Referring to Biden, she said, "And you have somebody who has a senior moment. And has been managing this country really well, and they're undecided?"

Joy Behar says Donald Trump should be put in an 'isolation booth' if he talks after his mic shuts during debate

Speaking about Donald Trump and Joe Biden's debate, Joy Behar said, "Now, this idea that there’s a sound that when Trump keeps talking, his mic is shut, that’s not enough because Joe Biden can still hear him….He’s like where you are to me."

"If you keep yammering, I can still hear you. They need to be in one of those quiz show isolation booths. But also Joe Biden should fact-check him. That’s how it works. I think he has a minute to rebut, I believe," she continued.

'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin says all voters don't support Joe Biden's policies

Arguing that many of the undecided voters do not support Trump, 'The View' co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said that the undecided voters also find Biden's policies problematic.

"You guys are like he should be so proud of student loans," said Griffin, adding, "People like me don’t think it was the government’s job to do it, or he should be so happy about what he’s doing with the border. We think he waited too long."

Biden and Trump are set to debate for 90 minutes in Atlanta, Georgia on Thursday, June 27.
