LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber has once again sparked hair transplant rumors after he appeared bare-headed during his recent outing in Beverly Hills on Monday, March 10.

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker, who recently celebrated his 31st birthday on March 1, has long been known for his eclectic fashion tastes. However, for the last few months, the former teen heartthrob made it a point to seldom appear in public without a hat.

However, during his latest excursion, the superstar finally ditched his hat to reveal his head full of closely cropped hair, refueling the speculations of him undergoing hair restoration surgery.

He opted for a bright green hoodie paired with dark green shorts with pink trim. He rounded his look up with a pair of Nike sneakers with purple socks.

The ‘Peaches’ singer, who previously declared that he has “nothing to prove” in an enigmatic post, appeared to enjoy the solo outing.

The theory of Bieber’s hair transplantation was initially propagated by a few plastic surgeons who postulated that the singer might have undergone a few surgeries to restore his hairline, as reported by Daily Mail

Doctors share their views on Justin Bieber's hair growth

Aesthetician and plastic surgeon Dr Gary Linkov suggested Justin Bieber may have undergone the procedure while comparing two photos—one from 2022 showing his buzzcut and another from 2024, where he had a full head of hair.

In a video uploaded on his TikTok, Dr Linkov shared, “When I look at his forehead, [the hairline is now] much flatter, it doesn't have that recession,” before adding, “And when the hair is wet, you can tell the regularity of the [hairline], so it looks like maybe he did have a transplant.”

The plastic surgeon continued, “There's no medication that's going to turn a receding hairline around. I think, based on [photos], I would say, he has likely had a hair restoration surgery.”

“He started to wear all these hats [in 2022] and he's covering up his hair so that it's hard to tell what was going on,” claimed the New York-based surgeon.

He also suggested that the musical superstar might have had around 1,800 hair follicles transferred, per Ace Showbiz

The surgeons are of the opinion that Bieber may have experienced sudden growth in his hair follicles because of a potential Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure.

Dr Linkov, nevertheless, shared, “And remember, hair transplants can take up to a year, maybe a year and a half, to see final results.”

Another plastic surgeon, Dr Jim Harris also reflected on Bieber’s changing hairline over the years and claimed that medication alone can’t bring the visible changes.

The New York-based plastic surgeon claimed, "There's no medication that's going to turn a receding hairline around. I think, based on [photos], I would say, he has likely had a hair restoration surgery."

Studying his pictures, Dr Harris noted, "In a photo from 2023 I notice that Justin's hairline looks flatter,” before adding, “A few years prior to that in 2018, he had a definite recession, very scalloped frontal hairline. [But] now it's flatter onto his forehead, much more linear.”

The latest rumors about Bieber’s hairline came amid the ongoing speculations about the singer’s alleged troubles in his personal life, including a marital tiff with his wife Hailey Bieber, and dwindling finances.

Nevertheless, Bieber shut the rumors down during a recent post on Instagram, when he wrote, “We have nothing to prove today. Just the gift of life today to accept and receive. Nothing is owed to us. And we don't owe anyone anything.”
