Justin Bieber posts cryptic Biblical-themed message about people who 'talk s**t': 'Jesus is never late'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber's cryptic posts about Biblical stories spark speculation on whether the 'Baby' singer sees himself as Jesus Christ.
The 31-year-old singer referenced a Gospel of John story in his Instagram post on Thursday, March 6.
In two back-to-back Instagram Story slides, the singer shared the Biblical story of the Messiah and Lazarus. However, things took a turn when Bieber’s posts hinted at calling out someone who had personally attacked him.
Justin Bieber shares cryptic Biblical story to criticize people who ‘talk s**t’
In a lengthy Instagram Story, Justin Bieber referenced the story of Lazarus, where Jesus delayed his visit for several days. By the time he arrived, Lazarus had already died and was buried.
Jesus then resurrected Lazarus from the dead. While Bieber shared the same story, his presentation gave it a unique twist.
Giving off a personal vendetta energy, the ‘Beauty and a Beat’ singer wrote about people who would “s**t talk” about Jesus despite knowing His capabilities.

Sharing the story, Bieber wrote, “Jesus didn’t heal his best friend Lazareth right away, even tho he knew people would talk s**t, saying how could he be god if he didn’t heal his best friend?”
The ‘One Time’ singer highlighted, “But Jesus wasn’t trying to please everyone. And didn’t allow the people to rush him. He knew what he was capable of.”
The singer added his take on the Biblical story, emphasizing how people doubted Jesus even when they knew they shouldn't have.
“Best part of this story is while everyone thinks Jesus is late and let his friend die Jesus is never late. He shows up and RAISES HIM FROM THE DEAD SHOWING THAT HE HAS THE POWER OVER LIFE AND DEATH,” continued the ‘Sorry’ singer, before adding, “His answer his hard too. Why u trippin’ didn’t I tell u fools I’m HIM.”

While Bieber’s sudden Bible reference might just be mid-week motivation, the underlying message stands out—especially amid growing speculation about his personal life.
Thus, as the singer uses phrases like “trying to please everyone,” one cannot help but wonder whether ‘The Yummy’ hitmaker was trying to draw similarities between his life and the Biblical story.

Bieber’s post comes amid intense speculation about troubles in his marriage to Hailey Bieber. Additionally, online chatter about his health has surged after he appeared visibly upset in recent paparazzi photos.
As Perez Hilton reported, Bieber’s posts may be aimed at fans who have questioned his marriage and his abilities as a singer. Through his post, Bieber seemingly acknowledged that he "can’t please everyone" and that criticism will always follow him.
Or it could be equated with his career arc as well, where he probably implied that he knew what he is “capable of,” and will return to the music scenario when the right time comes.
