Justin Bieber hit with $380K property tax bill as he reportedly considers suing former business managers
INDIO, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber is reportedly facing a significant property tax bill on his $16.6 million Coachella Valley home.
The 30-year-old singer purchased the property in January 2023, but records reveal he now owes a total of $380,349 in overdue taxes, half of which was due on October 12 and the remaining balance is required by April 10, 2024, according to The US Sun.
Justin Bieber's financial struggles and spending habits
Shortly after the tax news emerged, TMZ reported that Justin Bieber might be facing broader financial difficulties.
Sources close to the singer say that Bieber has been contemplating legal action against his former business managers, claiming they mismanaged his finances.
However, his team remains divided on pursuing a lawsuit, with concerns that Bieber's own spending habits could play a significant role in his financial issues.
An insider recently told Page Six that Bieber’s expenses are “out of control,” describing his monthly spending as “eye-watering.”
The source further revealed that at one point, Bieber struggled to qualify for a credit card due to high expenses and alleged that some of his spending was directed toward luxury items like private jets, properties, and significant church donations.
Justin Bieber's dispute with former business managers
Justin Bieber’s financial tensions escalated earlier this year when he ended his relationship with his former business manager, Lou Taylor, in May after an 18-month collaboration with Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group.
Speculation arose that Bieber might take legal action against the management group, yet a representative from Tri Star issued a statement clarifying that no such action is being considered and denying any involvement in his unpaid property bills.
“We did nothing wrong in our brief 18 months of representing him, and he is aware of this,” a Tri Star spokesperson told The US Sun.
Despite the clarification, Bieber’s team is reportedly debating the next steps, with some advisors urging caution due to the potential impact on his reputation and finances.
Justin Bieber distances himself from Sean 'Diddy' Combs amid allegations
Beyond financial troubles, Justin Bieber has recently found himself entangled in the controversy surrounding rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
Allegations against Combs have reportedly left Bieber “completely disgusted,” with insiders noting the singer has distanced himself from the 54-year-old rapper.
Bieber has been advised to “stay as far away as possible” from anything related to Combs, with whom he has a lengthy professional history.
The allegations have allegedly taken a toll on Bieber’s mental well-being, adding stress to his already challenging financial situation.
