LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber and Sean 'Diddy' Combs were reportedly close friends in the past. However, after Diddy got arrested on trafficking and racketeering charges on September 16, the 'Lonely' singer is reportedly not in a good state of mind.

Radar Online reported that questions regarding the pop star's mental health have started to surface as he gets over his "worst nightmare". The outlet also mentioned a source claiming Bieber is slowly opening up to friends about his past friendship with Diddy.

Justin Bieber finally 'breaking his silence' about 'nightmare experience'

Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 54, was accused of multiple charges and taken into custody in September. However, he persists denying all charges and will face trial in May 2025, a judge confirmed on Thursday, October 10, per The Mirror.

In the wake of the founder of Bad Boy Record's arrest and subsequent allegations against him, his past association with young Bieber has come under close scrutiny.

The 'Baby' hitmaker has distanced himself from the rapper following his arrest in order to protect his mental well-being, according to an insider.

Supportive comments for Bieber flooded his Instagram page as soon as word of Diddy's arrest circulated. According to the insider, Bieber has battled drug addiction, suicidal thoughts, and several outbursts in public over the years.

The source told Radar Online, "The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy. But he's finally breaking his silence to his friends about the nightmare experience and the private hell it's caused him."

According to US Weekly, another source has since confirmed that Bieber was "advised to stay as far away as possible from anything and everything related to Diddy".

The 'Lonely' singer is allegedly "in a hard place mentally", and wants "nothing to do" with Diddy. Bieber is also "completely disgusted" by the allegations made against Diddy.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Justin Bieber's past ties

Even though Justin Bieber wants nothing to do with Sean 'Diddy' Combs, his name has been mentioned frequently because of his close relationship with the Bad Boy Records founder in the past.

Usher first introduced the 'Stuck With U' singer to the music mogul when he was around 13. Diddy, who was 37 at the time, reportedly took Bieber under his wings during his quick ascent to stardom.

A 2009 video of the two that had surfaced in March shows Diddy bragging, "He's having 48 hours with Diddy. What we're doing, we can't really disclose. But it's definitely a 15-year-old's dream ... we're gonna go full crazy."

In a second old video that has resurfaced, Diddy asks Bieber why they don't get out as much as they used to.

In the third video, which is from their 2011 appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', Bieber is warned by Diddy not to talk about their actions together in the public.

Bieber's fans also believe that his song 'Lonely' is about the trauma he experienced in his early career. In his 2020 song 'Lonely', Bieber sings, "Everybody saw me sick, and it felt like no one gave a s***."

Another song has been widely circulated across social media platforms where Bieber sings about a "Diddy party" but it has been revealed that the song was created by artificial intelligence (AI).
