BROOKLYN, NEW YORK: Sean 'Diddy' Combs, the iconic music mogul, is facing difficult conditions while awaiting trial on serious charges, with his attorney pointing to the food as one of the toughest aspects of his time behind bars, as reported by People.

According to his lawyer Marc Agnifilo, the food at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center has been a rough adjustment for Combs, who has been incarcerated since mid-September.

“I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it," Combs' attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan following a status conference.

During weekdays, lunch is offered at 11.00 am, followed by dinner after the 4 pm headcount. The lunch menu primarily features main dishes such as hamburgers, baked fish, or beef tacos, while weekends include scrambled eggs and biscuits.

For dinner, options include chicken fajitas, pasta, and roast beef. The facility also provides "heart-healthy" meals and vegetarian options like lentils, tofu, and baked beans.

Combs, 54, is set to stand trial on May 5, 2025, facing allegations that include trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in crimes. Despite being denied bail twice, his legal team continues to fight for his release pending trial.

In his most recent court appearance on October 10, Combs, dressed in tan prison clothing, remained composed as he waved to his family in the courtroom gallery. His mother and children were in attendance, showing their unwavering support.

A source close to the family noted that the children were "happy to support their father" and that they remain united during this difficult time.

Prosecutors revealed they are still in the process of extracting a large quantity of data from Combs' devices, which may lead to further charges in the form of a superseding indictment.

In another significant development, Combs' legal team has accused prosecutors of leaking a 2016 surveillance video that allegedly shows him assaulting his ex, Cassie Ventura. The defense argues that this leak has led to damaging media coverage, further complicating the case. Prosecutors have denied these claims, stating they did not have possession of the video before its publication by CNN.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ experiences behind bars have ignited a flurry of discussions online, with many social media users expressing skepticism about the focus on his adjustment to prison life.

One user remarked, “Wonder how his victims are and how they had to adjust to life. Who cares about what he’s eating or how he’s dealing?”

“Considering what he's being charged with, I think food should be the least of his worries,” one commenter noted, while another added, “This is what concerns them right now?!? Pretty sure he and his team got bigger issues to overcome!!”

Some users were more direct in their criticisms, questioning whether there should be any sympathy for the music mogul at all. “Are we supposed to feel bad for him?” one user asked, and another declared, “I’m glad he’s suffering.”

"Well it’s call Prison for a Reason.," a user said.
