Justin Bieber may return to touring to pay medical bills amid neurological disorder diagnosis: Source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber may tour again so that he is able to pay his medical bills amid battle with a neurological disorder.
According to sources, the 30-year-old musician, who already cultivated a reputation for being a spendthrift, is said to be spending money relentlessly, even amid his dwindling income.
Insiders close to the popstar recently shared with an outlet, as reported by RadarOnline, that Bieber may soon need to generate a steady source of income, preferably through touring.
Justin Bieber’s economic crisis
Justin Bieber released his last album in 2021. In 2023, the ‘Baby’ singer had to cancel most of the dates of his Justice World Tour after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Giving an insight into his waning bank balance, an insider dished, "Justin has always been irresponsible with money and spends freely without looking at prices or his bank balance. No wonder the money is dwindling."
Moreover, the popstar, known for his extravagant living including his private jet travels, was recently slapped with a massive $380,349 property tax bill on his $16.6 million home in Coachella Valley, California.
Amid his dwindling financial means, the insider revealed that the quickest way for him to make some money is to venture into touring. However, for Bieber, concert performances will also come with additional baggage - physical problems including facial paralysis, hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus, dizziness, and hoarseness because of his debilitating neurological condition.
"The quickest way to make some cash would be to tour,” noted the source before adding, “but Justin probably wouldn't be able to withstand the rigors of the road."
The source further hinted that the ‘Beauty and a Beat’ singer may also consider suing his former financial advisers for mismanaging his $300 million fortune, which mostly came from selling his music catalog last year.
"Things are not looking good for Justin,” shared the source, adding with caution, “Without any cash flow, he's not going to be able to sustain his extravagant lifestyle much longer."
Justin Bieber is 'more troubled than ever'
The reports of Justin Bieber’s financial crisis came amid rumors of him being “more troubled than ever.”
Earlier this month, a source shared with InTouch Weekly that the ‘One Time’ singer is seemingly facing difficult times away from the spotlight.
The source shared, "Justin hardly ever gets out. Everyone thought his lack of socializing was because he was embracing being a dad, but now those close to him are concerned it’s a deeper issue.”
The pop star welcomed his first baby - son Jack Blues Bieber - with his wife Hailey in August 2024.
However, the insider shared that the singer is going through a rough patch in his life, and he “seems to be more troubled than ever.” Adding to his owes are the problematic details about his once mentor - Sean 'Diddy' Combs coming out.
