LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber caused followers to worry about his marriage to his wife Hailey Bieber shortly after unfollowing his father-in-law, Stephen Baldwin, on Instagram.

Besides Stephen, 58, the 'Baby' hitmaker also unfollowed his former mentor, Usher, former bodyguard, Kenny Hamilton, his former "swag coach," Ryan Good, and his former managers, Scooter Braun, and Allison Kaye, on the social networking platform, per The US Sun.

The Rhode model, 28, and the 30-year-old Baby hitmaker were the subject of divorce rumors in late 2024 after their sixth wedding anniversary.

Justin no longer follows Stephen on his personal Instagram page, and the actor no longer follows the musician. Rather, the 'Usual Suspects' star follows several fan accounts and his daughter Hailey.

Stephen also shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 15, that read a quote from pastor Alistair Begg.

It said: "Let us beware of making snap decisions when we’re not on our game, when life has turned against us, when we’re disheartened and discouraged."

He also used the lyrics to Ryan Ellis' song Better Days in a message to express gratitude to God for his family, per In Touch Weekly.

The post read: "God, thank you for my family and for all my lessons. I don’t deserve them, but you keep on pouring out from Heaven."

Justin decided to unfollow his father-in-law shortly after Stephen made remarks about his grandson Jack in an Entertainment Tonight interview. "My first grandson is better than Special Forces," Stephen, who left the competition series, told the outlet.

"He's a little soldier in his own right already...Jack Blues, I think considering who the mom and dad are, this kid's gonna be cute and creative, so I'm looking forward to it," he added.

Moreover, the 'Usual Suspects' star appeared to allude to marital problems between Justin and Hailey, 28, in February 2024. Stephen reshared a post from religious leader Victor Marx on his Instagram Stories at the time, asking for "prayers" for the couple.

Victor posted a video of Justin singing a copy of Martin Smith's song 'I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,' with the message, "Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them."

Fans were left wondering about Hailey and Justin's relationship after Victor's remark, but Hailey denied that she and Justin were having marital problems. She warned her fans not to trust everything they read in a message she released.

Justin and Hailey Bieber dispelled split rumors as they posed for flirtatious Instagram snap

Hailey and Justin Bieber put an end to the separation rumors earlier in January when they posed for a flirtatious Instagram picture. The musician was spotted kissing the Rhode founder in the selfie as they enjoyed the sunset at the beach.

Hailey also gave her shock reaction to trolls who assumed that she and Justin had split up in December. "You're not well and it's okay," the model stated in a reposted TikTok video at the time.

With the comment, "Me to all of you on the internet," Hailey posted the reel to her Instagram stories.

The Peaches singer's decision to unfollow his father-in-law has caused fans to worry yet again that he and Hailey might not get along.

"It's so he doesn't have to deal with her dad when the divorce happens," one Reddit user said, while a second user added, "Honestly what if he wants a divorce and doesn't want to deal with Hailey's dad," per Daily Mail.

One X (formerly Twitter) user noted, "I believe JB wants to go back to his life before getting married. He's starting to realize that his entire team manipulated and controlled him through his marriage. HB goes along with it because she doesnt want to end up among the trash he throws away."

A second X user added, "I mean, his own daughter doesn't follow him."

Another wondered, "But why! Why unfollowed by his father-in-law ?"

"Where is he even going with this unfollow spree?? I'm actually curious now lol also not even hailey follows this man so he's irrelevant," said one in part.

"Oh divorce on its way," assumed one.

Another remarked, "He should honor his wife's father, after all, he was the one who paved the way for his daughter to meet him. Now he thanks him with a kick in the a*s."
